Bidyut Chakra Sadharan Pathagar is a Govt. Sponsored library, located opposite to purba Sinthee post office. No other library as big as this, in Dumdum area.
It's three storey building library, having huge Collection of different types of books, magazine and rare collection also.
Here you can read any book. Best sitting option, no disturbance. Nice atmosphere for study.
For membership, you have to pay 250 rupees at a time and it is refundable. So it's the best place study any book.

I have really enjoyed being there. The library is fully clean and clear. The three floor building is totally neat and beautifully maintained. All the books showed its serenity through its glass. The local library committee take a huge responsibility to maintain its clean n clear environment. I personally loved the librarian madam. She is a very kind and big hearted lady.

I think the library is very helpful to students who choose to take
advantage of it. I signed up for an Ask-a-Librarian session and it
was so helpful. I was very pleased with the environment. Way

children's library located on the ground floor.
The State Govt. has set up Bangla Sahayata Kendras (BSKs) in the Library 'to provide online government services free of cost at the grassroot level' and also to strengthen the existing system of information dissemination about various social and development schemes.
It is open every day (11am-4pm)except Sunday and govt. Holidays.
