Directions: As you enter Kabaleeshwarar Nagar, it's on the right. Look for a dilapidated building that looks like it was bombed in the war and a decrepit entrance. Walk in straight past the bikes parked there and on the left is a staircase to the post office next to a red post box. Warning: There are absolutely NO signs here to guide you.

Inside, prepare to meet some rude staff who will look like you just ruined their whole day and life by making your presence known there.

There is a poster inside with more timing details (this should be outside and also made available online so that you don't waste all your time getting there and finding the place only to find out that they don't do certain things at certain times.

That said, India Post does a decent job of getting your mail around in one piece (so far).

I have opened Saving Account in Neelankarai post Office. When I requested for mobile banking activation they are responding as feature is disabled here for more than one month. No knowledge on Internet Banking services and no proper response.

Really worst post office I ever went...! Only one women is working there and she always being very rude to the customers. Even to me she was very rude. They have been appointed as governments staffs for the sake of people. For that only they are getting salary.

For most of the postal work can be done here. other then that we can go to Thiruvanmiyur post office
