We were staying at Panchtatwa Nisargopchar &Yoga Ashram in the same city and walked over to Coral one day to look at their facilities to see about coming there next year. We had a most unpleasant encounter with the front desk man. He was rude, never was able to get an employee to answer the bell to show us the rooms. He would not answer simple questions like staffing numbers, accused that we could be looking for information to start our own center to compete. Really, I am late 50s white woman who doesn't speak Hindi and my friend is 70. We walked there. I could go on, but all I would say is his demeanor was the antithesis of what I would want in a retreat center. I would never try the place. The pricing appears all all la carte and higher than where we were. He told us we just needed to go talk to the guests about what they thought. According to this man, the staff does not speak English, so like the place we were at, you need to have a Hindi speaker. with you for best results. This man did not make a good impression for the face of a business.

We, that is self and my wife Kusum, have been visiting Coral evey year for the last 3 years. We were introduced to this place by my daughter's family way back in 2007.
While detoxification, fitness and wellness were the most important objectives that brought us to Coral in the first instance, today ...we simply love the place, the experience. Warm and friendly staff, rejuvenating massages, mud packs, other treatments, yoga and pranayam sessions, wholesome and tasty meals, juices etc. add up to a very special and personalised service and experience.
Poor hygiene in the treatment rooms is, however, the only sore point. I strongly recommend you carry your own set of napkins / towels for wiping the body after oil massage.

I would not recommend this place or most other places in Nasik right now. Coral used to be a good place when Dr Sukhbir Singh was around, but currently after his death, it has gone under a corrupt management. The massages are good (especially Padma's), but some pseudo-scientific policies and practices are being introduced by new doctors. Yoga practices are not all-inclusive and many asanas/exercizes are not really taught. Doctors also keep changing, as the second and third time I went, there were a totally new set of people consulting and teaching yoga. Yoga sessions are also only once a day unlike earlier when they held sessions twice a day. The food is well-cooked but the diet served is not balanced (like having only dhokla and chatni for dinner and serving fruits for lunch/dinner instead of in the morning for breakfast). Many essential ingredients and spices are not used. There are lots of mosquitoes, and the area behind the treatment center is wet, unhygienic and never cleaned. People throw coconut shells and fruit skin directly there, and germs fester. There is very little water flow in the private bathrooms in the rooms. I would recommend kaivalyadham in Lonavla instead, which is more scientific/credible and internationally popular, has very good and healthy food diet for all participants, cleanliness, and much better staff and management and atmosphere too. The cost at kaivalyadham is the same (or slightly cheaper as well, depending on the package you take). I have cured my asthma to a great extent on my own (and after going to kaivalyadham).
