Pahar park at Kalyani, very significant because the 'pahar ' was due to an artificial heap of stones plus others under banyon tree inside the park. Place was very lonely during 70s time. Now heap ( hill=pahar/পাহাড়) is vanished, name remains. Many new buildings coming up, I personally dislike buildings above two stories here.

Very ill maintained park. Good for kids to okay during the day. But as darkness sets in....It becomes a very risky place. Not recommended for visit after evening.

Beautiful park. Green, children can play easily. Drinking water is available.

It is a good small park of a small city Kalyani at B-12 with some artificial falls and musical fountain.

A landmark of the B-12 sub-block with a tiny 'pahar' or hill at the corner of the park, which once also had a pump driven artificial waterfall. The park is full of greenery surrounded by beautiful homes at one of the nicest neighborhoods of Kalyani town. The park is also remembered as the place where one of the town's best high schools, Springdale was founded.

Nice park for all ages of people. A small hill like structure is there and that's why it is called as pahar park. This area is near to the Kalyani Lake.
