Green Garden Park

Best park in bankura..lots of activities for kids and toddlers.

Some items are non functional but still it offer much more than other parks.
Entry fee is rs 50. Its good because that prevents unwanted persons.
Ambience is quite good.
Its also have a cafe in park.
Only drawback is far and located out of city

The park is simply overvalued. 50 rupees for entry for a single person and 150 rupees for a couple's ticket. And then there is nothing to see. Just little garden with no flower and with some benches, and cradles. But it might be good choice for a holiday with kids. And then for each items you want to enjoy ( children's park, and boat, train etc.) you have to pay seperate charges. Like for children's it is 25 rupees, for boat it is 50 rupees. It means they take 50 rupees for just roaming in that garden. And then I thought for couples it will be some private place, at least a little private. But no, there they have placed the idol of Lord Shiva. And anybody can go there without even couple ticket. Then what's the meaning of giving a couple ticket and charging extra 50 rupees. Only thing to see is the lightings looks good at evening.

Nice place to take your kids in the afternoon. I often visit this place. It has entry fee for entering to the main park. There are charge to ride the toy train. Thats ok. But then there charge again on each kid for accessing the kids play area. That i feel little much. Also the kids play area need little maintainance. Otherwise its a reccomended place to visit and spend some good time.

Entry tickets for one couples is 150/-. There is a nice big lake, Shiva Murti. Garden is well maintained. One small cafe is there but the food quality is not upto the mark. Good place for spending times of couples or shooting pre wedding photoshoot. The place could be developed more.

Hey guys, if you want to chill with your partner.. You can visit this beautiful place.. Here, a huge statue of Lord Shiva has been made.. I liked this statue very much..look at the following pictures.

Good place for hanging out with friends, family... good place for bringing kids..... good for couples....the place is quite good ..... there are many photogenic places.....many groups of friends , couples come here....kids are also come along with their parents....but the price of the entry ticket is ₹50 which I think is quite high according to the place .... otherwise good place

Everything in the garden is taken for granted, that is evident all over the garden. It's a good example of how everything goes wrong due to the lackluster attitude of the authorities. There are many rides for children which are not safe as they lack maintenance. Hope things turn for better amenities throughout the garden.
