Gitanjali Park

It is an L-shaped water body, creating a narrow but an amazing water boating park. It is quite & peaceful & mostly visited by the elderly people & the couples for a short delight. Location is very convenient because Sanskriti Metro is at stone's throw, on the Kachari Road, connecting the Curzon Gate within 5 minutes of walking distance.
A must visit.

This place located just beside burdwan court. Ideal for morning and evening walk. Great attraction is color full fish. This very attractive for child. Currently colse only for fish.

It is a fine place for we the Senior Citizens.
There is a lack of meintance porcedure.
No sufficient lights in the posts.
No regular cleaning at the foot path and our toilets.
These should be checked properly.

A small L shaped park at Court Compound, Burdwan, Gitanjali Park is small but scenic. The park is constructed bothside of a narrow L Shaped waterbody. This park is for morning walkers, seniors and children. A small place for children having merry-go-round is there and seasonal flowers are there to add to it's beauty. But lack of proper maintenance is a big drawback for this beauty.

The ticket price is 3 rupes only. Little park kids activities are not more then 5things to do. Address near court compound

Excellent place for ppl who r health conscious and for those like to take a brisk walk. Its an 'L' shaped park which covers about 700metres.. One of the rarest parks to find in Bardhaman. Yes, it can be maintained a bit more nicely but nevertheless its still a very good place.. Not sure about the evenings, but for morning walks visit around 5:45-6am. The crowd is very minimal during the early hours.
