Jama Masjid is Nunmai's principal mosque, the place where the thousands of Muslims traditionally gather for Friday communal prayer; Jamia Masjid is Arabic for “Friday mosque.” The mosque is closely to the main road of Nunmai. It is considered One of the Beautiful mosque in South Kashmir, Jama Masjid Nunmai is situated in the Nunmai village . Its construction was completed by Islamic centre Nunmai /Awkaaf community Nunmai with the help of Islamic followers particularly villagers of nunmai.
