Kamarajar Memorial

Though the place is dedicated to a very important personality but it is not at all maintained well. It has got all pictures hanging on the wall related to kamarajar but no one to explain it to tourist. No lights and fan. No cleanliness. Due to negligence but authority it is attracting near to zero tourist.

A great place in memory of பெருந்தலைவர் Kamaraj the former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu who worked for the wellness of the society. He was a well known political leader from the south India. The hall contain the portraits of the CM with national and international leaders whom he met during his life.He is remembered for his simple and clean political life. But it needs lots of improvement to promote his history and life to the young kids. Must visit place

Legend of Tamilnadu... who plays a main role in Indian congress party.... He is the reason for Central Govt organisations to open in tamilmadu like BHEL. HVF. etc.... built many dams for tamilnadu...

This place is the memorial of former Chief Minister Kamarajar, my favorite leader.
Kamarajar Memorial is next to Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam.
Here you can see lots of information about Kamarajar with photos, and a statue of Kamarajar is present inside the room.

Good mandapam for former TN Chief Minister Mr. Kamaraj

Located near the shores of Kanyakumari, Kamarajar Memorial was built in the honour of Kumaraswami Kamaraj, the "Kingmaker" in Indian politics.

Kamaraj (15 July 1903 - 2 October 1975), popularly known as Kamarajar was an Indian independence activist and politician who served as the Chief Minister of Madras State (Tamil Nadu). He also served as the president of the Indian National Congress for two terms.

This was raised and dedicated to Sri. Kamarajar, the freedom figher, former cheif minister of Tamil Nadu, President of Indian Nationa Congress. He is also called ad Black Gandhi, This monument was constructed where his ashes were kept here for public to pay homeage before immersion into the sea. This place situated next to the Gandhi memorial.

Kamarajar Memorial Kanya Kumari is a memorial dedicated to the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri Kamarajar.
