A must visit memorial; Beautifully maintained landscape with the memories etched in stones. Framed pics with descriptions of the freedom fighters. Has a book store within holding quite a few books and collection of photos. A kids play area with slide, see-saw and swing is housed within. A to-be-visited spot in Thanjavur.

The place is situated in the interior region, so Auto drivers charge more. There is no entry fee for this place.

The exteriors of the memorial is awesome. The stone sculptures are excellent, making it a photogenic spot.

There is no one in the memorial, there is no proper lighting and it was dark inside. Can visit this place just for the exteriors.

Looking good. It would be nice to have more facilities for children to play.
