Nice place to spend the evening with family...it might also attracts the photographers.... the marble work is great and the idea of the architecture is really awsome...... though it is a memorial but it seems to be a park and there is a museum inside it where you should visit at least once...

A memorial is planned at this place to pay homage to Jayalalitha. Several government officials and famous architects have already visited this place multiple times to propose the design and architecture for the proposed Jayalalatiha Memorial. The land at the proposed Jayalalitha Memorial is owned by The Public Works Department of Tamil Nadu

A person called Puratchi Thalaivi Amma by all people is Dr. J. Jayalalitha avargal. Such a great human and having good hearted person. Simply "Irumbu mangai". Jayalalithaa first came into prominence as a leading film actress in the mid-1960s. Though she had entered the profession reluctantly, upon the urging of her mother to support the family, Jayalalithaa worked prolifically. She appeared in 140 films between 1961 and 1980, primarily in the tamil, telugu and kannadalanguages. Jayalalithaa received praise for her versatility as an actress and for her dancing skills, earning the sobriquet "Queen of Tamil Cinema".  Among her frequent co-stars was M. G. Ramachandran popularly known as 'M.G.R.', a Tamil cultural icon who leveraged his immense popularity with the masses into a successful political career. She always says that "மக்களால் நான்... மக்களுக்காகவே நான்...." such a great human being... His sudden death is not accepted by people till now and her death is still a big question mark.... But as a person she won billion of billon peoples heart.... So people use to call AMMA.
