A splendid bronze statue of Rabindranath Tagore mounted on a hexagonal concrete pedestal ,raised on a water body , designed with beautiful sculptures all around.A nearby culvert with semi circle railing in yellow adds elegance to the site.The well lit statue after dask is the most saught after hangout site for teenagers.It is situated at the cultural heart of the city,Aamtal,Barpeta Road where people throng the place during festive days like Chat Puja,Dashami(Durga Idol immersion)

This statue is of awsome hight on a water reservoir. It was established in the name of Rabindra nath Tegore. Streets and layout of this surrounding area is cool. People can stop here for a while to see the statue.

It has been vry badly overlooked, such a glorious lake amidst the Amtol area with arts and crafts... But presently has been like a drain and is home to all garbage the area. Needs attention. It is also a hub to many doctors and pharmacy too
