No sms or mail information from their side.
Then how can they renew my policy..
I have no idea to continue the policy but they.. renewed and debit amount from my credit card.
Don't purchase any car insurance in this company

I own a Fiat Punto 2016 model, being a car enthusiast I'm particular in a Zero deprecation insurance and willing to pay twice the cost from the regular premium rates and during search of it, Royal Sundaram sales team reached me they convinced me with a better offer so took a zero-dep insurance for 14000. on April2022(be aware with sales team).
On July2022 My car met with an accident and I initiated the claim process, in due course they checked my policy and told My NCB was declared wrongly. I had no idea as the salesperson filled the details for me.
Now on that context they have informed that my Insurance claim might get rejected due to wrong NCB and that's the last communication I received. I tried to reach out the branch office, customer support and all possible source to pay the NCB and process the claim (AS per motor act). No one gave an update for almost a week, then from nowhere they sent me a letter to my address on Cancellation of my insurance policy
I travelled all the way to Chennai to visit corporate office it was so absurd; they were flexing policy standards as per their convince
SAYING ALL BLOODY EXCUSES TO DEFER THE CLAIM - BY MOTOR ACT THERE IS RULE TO RECOVER THE NCB FROM THE CUSTOMER IF THERE IS ANY DIFFRENCE WITHIN 90DAYS, THEY HAVE NOT SENT ANY SUCH COMMUNICATION AND ALSO DONT WANT TO DO THAT BECAUSE ONCE ITS DONE THEY WILL AVE TO PROCESS MY CLAIM AND SETTLE IT AND UPON IT, THEY HAVE ALSO CANCELLED MY POLICY WITH OUT PRIOR INFORMATION SO THAT I CANT CLAIM ANY FURTHER AFTER
All they were stating that "NCB will be updated by trust on customer without verification " I wrote to helpdesk and even visited their corporate office everything ended vain
Such pathetic Insurance support i ever had in last 15 year of MOTORING.
I’m definitely going to take this incident to all possible vicinity of public of the awareness and fraudulent behaviour of Royal Sundaram
