My association with Life Insurance Corporation, Erode South branch dates back to late eighties. I am a policy holder of this branch. My erstwhile office, Sub Record Office , RMS CB Division , Erode deducts LIC premia from salaries of it's employees and remit the same to Erode South branch of LIC , monthly ,under the SALARIES SAVING SCHEME.
So RMS EMPLOYEE'S association with LIC is deep rooted.

I love the ambience of the office and the staff working there are always courteous towards their customers. Settlement of claims are always speedy .
It is very near to NILGIRIS and KALAI MATTU SILAI JUNCTION. No separate parking lot for LIC is there. We have to park our 2 wheelers only on the road side . Finding a place for parking is a herculean task. 4 wheelers can't be parked. Not wheelchair accessible. An ATM outlet is there within the premises.

It is within a walk able distance of 300 metres from Town Bus Stop and 800 metres from Erode Railway Junction.

I am pained to note that it is not disabled friendly , because all of it's transactions are in first floor and there is no lift facility . Senior citizens also find it difficult to climb stairs.

My humble suggestion is to shift premia receiving cash counters downstairs so much so senior citizens and disabled customers may feel abundantly relieved.

Otherwise it is ok.
