MOUSUNI ISLAND BACKPACKERS' CAMP

A very disappointing experience, the journey
was quite hectic. The service and behaviour of backpackers are average. But the food quality or test was very good. The rooms are not so clean and the beds are quite uncomfortable. Quality of ceiling Fan and Table Fan can't give pleasant. The night ambience is very good. You can enjoy the bonfire and the sound system. The stay is adventurous but the sanitary system and hygiene system are not up to the mark.

Due tho some nature effect current situation is not good... But it's always my fev ❤️

Need to improve washrooms and rooms.
But they are very helpful & well behaved.

There was some basic things which was not provided in Backpackers cottage, like no regulater for the fan to regulate speed, no wall hanging system for keeping sharts and pants, no wify connection, and there should be a ladder to go to the beach from camp which is situated at about 7ft hight.

Being a traveller I would suggest Mousuni Island is very much overhyped, only if you have low budget and want to stay in a tent with an experience of camp fire near the sea shorelines then you might consider this place only for one time visit. Cause if you want to find something more outside of these things you'll get disappointed . Also the beach , though I wouldn't say that thing as a beach, rather mud-land is a proper adjective I guess. Most of the time the sea will be in really far from the camp, and the shoreline is full of muds instead of dry sands, so you'll never have the experience of the beach in Mousuni neither you'll get that level of waves in sea which you will expect in a sea. So if you want to experience truly the beach side and sea waves and less crowd then don't jump into mousumi with others try to visit Bakkhali, which is much more better option than this and also very budget friendly.

If you're on low budget and looking for one day trip with your friends from Kolkata. Then this is the best location ... In the Mousuni island backpackers camp is very beautifully located and you have to book through their online website.. welcome drink, lunch, evening tea with muri, bhaji, dinner, next day breakfast everything is included in the package.. we took parabola tent and in the summer they also provide cooler on extra charges.. and in the Evening they were doing bonfire and grilling kebabs .. you can enjoy the cool breeze with kebabs.. overall one day tour is perfect .. they are extremely polite .. if you're staying in tent then you'll get common washroom which was clean enough.

Beautiful place, great ambience, peaceful and secluded for people looking to have a bit of privacy all-around.
