The experience was really good. Staffs are really professional and helpful.
The hotel is situated in the middle of the market, road to Mall is a bit inclined but hardly 300 mtrs away from hotel, people with Heart and Knee condition can avoid this hotel if planning to visit visit the Mall frequently during your stay.

I stayed for 3 nights in the premium room, The room was excellent with all the amenities. One thing I didn't like, though we had big windows in our room, the view was obstructed by other hotels so I won't recommend room 208 where we stay. They had some other really nice rooms with a good city view. May be I received this room because I got it at very cheap price.

Nonetheless I am quite happy with the overall experience. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 days and 2 nights,very polite and kind staff,very hygienic living room and bathroom cannot find fault in that,great service but housekeeping should be more involved I feel because unless we ask they don't show any interest.3 of us stayed in a triple sharing room , very comfortable and cozy rooms, at a reasonable price of 4.5k per day with complimentary breakfast,they were kind enough to pitch in a tiny discount since we were extending our stay, restaurant attached to it is commendable with a great view of K2, actually the service they provide makes it more appreciable than their taste.
Location is little tricky,as no vehicle can go till the entrance and this can be difficult for elderly people,but it's at a walkable distance to mall road.
I would recommend this for friends and family they great service and hygienic rooms at a reasonable price.

1.They give preference to guest who are checking in only once. I have requested for 1 hour extension during check out which was denied stating few guests will be arriving who needs early check-in. I was really surprised.2. Daily toiletries, water and tea bags are not being provided unless guest request which I personally believe should be provided on a daily basis without any request.3. Quality of food is very ordinary. Have order paneer butter masala which was very bad.4. Room cleaning on request only.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.
Food was good but I think quantity is little bit less and price is little bit high as per foody like me.

Sumitel darjeeling is one among the best hotel so far I have stayed, great staff, great service, location is superb in context to the town. Blue charcoal restaurant of the hotel served both Ala carte menu as well as buffet. Will surely recommend people to stay in this property.

Hospitality of the hotel is very good. Food quality is good.Raksha and Aryan, who attended us in restaurant are very much polite and humble. But there is some problems in this hotel that is the restaurant is not in the same floor of the rooms.Older persons can face trouble for that. Otherwise the hotel is quite good.

The receptionist of the hotel provide me the worst room of the hotel. There is no view it's absolutely blocked. This is the third time I'm staying at this hotel but never had such bad experience and importantly the front desk staff said we have no room with view. Such things are not expected from Summit group of hotels. Service is OK. Room is clean enough and food is good too.
