OYO 29385 Bengal Inn

Very far away. I initially booked a hotel near howrah railway station, but that got cancelled on the last day. Was shifted to a hotel around 15 kms away from the original. Above that, transportation to the new hotel is horrible. The transport from the original hotel to the new one cost me more than the hotel itself. Really very disappointed with this service from Oyo. Regarding the hotel, it's very difficult to locate, specially at night. Above that, they didn't provide towel, and wifi was not working for many hours.

Hotel is sprawling with all basic infrastructure but staffs are useless. I spent three days there but room was never cleaned. Cupboard was there but hanger couldn't be provided. Even towels were not there. Even to get a toilet soap, I did multiple reminders. On asking where is the service and hospitality, one of their staffs plainly told me- it's like this. On the of exit everyone was asking for tip, then I told them- do not ever think for tips for this service. What a poor management and useless manager who is permitting such hostility within his premises and getting salary of the same.

They are charging extra money for stay against OYO BOOKING, and if not paid they will not give room and even they want payment only at hotel reception not in OYO PAYMENT Directly. hotel manager charge extra amount of online booking and also told me no online booking only cash and without any record they wants to entery

Firstly, being in such a an isolated spot, it's hard to guess it's exact location when you have to reach at night, food was sublime, but one dish needed more salt & when it comes to tips every staff including the receptionist just wanted more which is really not accepted when you have already handed out a good buck!!
