Chalet Hotel

Well behaved and helpful staff and a piece of heritage well maintained... Location is just wow... You just need not feel bored for a moment during stay even without stepping out of the room.... Though maintenance could have been better...

Chalet Hotel is at a heritage building at the most central location of Darjeeling at Chowrasta. It's within the MALL area. The hotel building is a heritage one & being centrally located, some of the tourists destinations are also nearby including Mahakal Temple, Kanchanjunga view point, MALL market & man

Holding the heritage of darjeeling more than 2decades.This hotel is situated in the most prime location 'Darjeeling Mall'.

From outside it will look like a ordinary hotel..!! But when you step inside.. It's like you have time travelled..!! Though there are very nice hotels in darjeeling.. But no one can beat it in respect of time..!! It's a timeless beauty..!! Large wooden rooms with windows size of doors..!! No food service. But they can arrange for tea or coffee..!! And it's on the mall road.. The whole market is just at your doorstep..!!

It would've been great if they had atleast a tea service, otherwise it was pleasant.

Location is good but hotel and service is bad . Dirty bed sheet , dirty rooms , bathroom is horrible . Any thing we ask they said this is haritage property so that's why they don't di any maintanence but that doesn't means that they will not going to change the bathroom wash basin , toilets etc etc . Price is not fixed if you book by phone they will ask some price but if you go there and booked physically then they will negotiate .
In this hotel there is no food available but we request for cooked for my baby as ee discussed before booking . The Madam come manager did not behave well . So we stop requesting them . Overall bad experience . Check the picture .
