The plus point of the hotel is it's located about 5 mints from the famous Darjeeling mall. However the location is in a steep slope and the lane is situated in a steep climb from the main road(at "TV Tower"). You will have an extremely hard time climbing there along the steep with luggage, unless the car drops you right at the doorstep. Apart from that the view from the common corridor in front of the rooms is simply awesome with the mountains and the valley on view, with a part of town visible long away below.
The hotel has no proper reception. For the first day the hotel kept us at another hotel just beside because as per them "the room booked for us had a malfunctioning geezer". Though I suspect overbooking on their part. Secondly, though my booking included complimentary breakfast and dinner, they initially refused to provide dinner. After some arguing and also talking * they agreed to provide only vegetarian dinner. The breakfast included toast, fried egg and banana.
As far as the rooms are concerned, they were clean and quite good, so was the bathroom. Storage , mirror, tv etc were fine.
Now coming to the worst part, on the day of our return there was no water in the bathroom in the early morning (5am). When I went down to the staffs, the said they can't do anything. * The hotel staff didn't also warn beforehand so that we could have stored water in a bucket.

We booked this place during 2nd weekend of Jan 2017. This is ideal for family or group of friends.It was an awesome experience staying here. Let me summarise the pros and cons about this hotel.
Pros:
1. Good view from the bedroom and dining area.
2. Very good room service
3. Good quality food
4. Helpful and friendly gesture of hotel authority.

Cons:
1. You have to travel a very steep road to reach the hotel from Darjeeling Mall, Chowrasta.

Hotel is located very near to The Mall, Rooms were Ok, but too much stinky and smelly. Outside view from the hotel was great. Management was ok. But again the rooms were not good atleast mine. Very dirty.
Geyser was centrally controlled from the reception so you had to call them again and again to switch on it.
Food served during lunch and dinner was ok.
And, dont try to book this hotel if you get it on discount because the management might not confirm the rooms and cancel if they find that you booked the room at a discounted price.
Overall just OK for the view

Decent rooms. 2 mins walk to mall Road. Very friendly hotel staff. Do not have bike parking but they helped me with it and parked my bike inside. If travelling alone, this can be a great option. If travelling with family, you may want to consider a different place as room size is not much. But my experience was good and I would recommend to anyone who is travelling solo

It was terrible and horrible experience. Room was ok but bathroom and toilet is totally cleanless. There is no hand wash basin in dinning hall. Hand wash basin is in common toilet at dinning hall and the toilet is terrible. They wont give you bed coffee or tea although the climate is too cold. I suggest no one to go for this hotel...After all the staff has also dare to ask tips...

Owner of the hotel Mr Praveen Rai is a bad person. He is drinking every night after that he came every body room and started clashing with his guests . Not only 1 day but we saw it more than 3 days that he started clashes with his guests when he was drunken. Hotel boys are good good behaviour but Mr Praveen is a bad person. We come here 2nd time but first time it was a good experience but this time every thing has changed. I suggest don't go into this Hotel

Not at all 3 star hotel, bad smell in room, very small rooms, lift not working, vehicle cannot come at the location, washroom area is like a train bogey. I have heard many hotels in Darjeeling are like this only. But, i have got too better hotel in Darjeeling nearby area in same price.

Room is not satisfactory. They claim it 2 star. But not eligible for any star. Suggest not to choose.
