The amazing hotel . The best of service and stay one can get. The staff is polite and friendly. The rooms are sufficiently spacious. Special mention for the food taste and variety of items in breakfast. Something for everybody. Even kids and infants will enjoy the food. One of the best stay in uttrakhand, fantastic hotel and brilliant staff. We booked this for a night to attend a weeding nearby. Love the hotel and food in the morning. Fantatsic hotel and great staff. Thanks a lot. I will definately come again

The hotel is good the food is average.
The service is v bad the staff at the restaurant just move aimlessly serving wrong food on wrong table
The house keeping is good shushila took care of room cleaning
Mr pranav Roy at front desk is one rude guy .shud not be at front desk
I only saw him eating at the restaurant.
Very very rude person.
Not fit for public relations.too much attitude and high headed !

XX * Dont consider this as a 4 star or 3 star hotel * XX

This is barely 2 stars.

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 2 days and we paid about 12000 for the same. Our experience was beyond horrible and we highly doubt that this is the original sarovar portico. Following things were wrong with this place -

1. No mini bar/fridge in the room
2. No room service - We called them multiple times to get even basic things that were missing in the room but noone bothers to serve anything.
3. Stale breakfast - The complimentary breakfast was stale and with very few options
4. Frequent power cuts.
5. Horrible place for drivers to stay in.
6. The watchman also is full of attitude is not willing to help someone to open the door when someone is full with luggage.

So i felt that the staff was highly unprofessional except hotelier pankaj rathod who was kind enough to help us.

Please look for better places. You wont regret.

it is a good hotel clean and comfortable. The problem is that it is way out of the city. it's nearly 15km or there abouts from Haridwar proper. A new problem is that you have to pay toll tax to go to Haridwar. Food is good and staff is courteous.

Hotel belongs to a good chain and location is also good. However service of staff is slow and despite the banquet halls with capacity to hold 200 people's functions staff service for basic tea was slower than snail. Room were big and location is good next to amusement park.

Excellent in every aspect! Special thanks to Mr. Uttam Gupta at reception and Mr. Yogesh in restaurent for their great hospitality.
In fact all employees deserve a big hike in salary. Everyone is doing his / her the best here.

Ambrosia is a solid night halt option if travelling onwards in Uttarakhand. It's just 3-4 hrs drive from Delhi so if you are planning to leave on Friday evening, it's the perfect night halt. Food is decent, rooms are clean and comfortable and prices are reasonable.
