I would have given no stars if it was possible. This place is horrible. That what everyone is mentioning a little trek before the resort is actually a very steep narrow pathway at a height. To reach the rooms, you take the steep pathway down the hill. A little slip or wrong step will make you fall of the edge. After a risky slippery walk you will see a distorted board of the resort directing you towards the rooms, which are actually cabins made of cardboard walls. Thick coat of paint to cover it, so that they don't appear like walls of cardboard in pictures. Duhhh!! Dirty washrooms. Dirty quilts, covered with dust, as if not cleaned from years. Very unsafe. The local people who work here, dump the liquor bottles in the surroundings. Just in case you face an emergency and want to get back to the road connectivity, the way to the road is so steep that you'll find yourself gasping for breath. Also, you can't take the path to climb up to the road once the sunlight fades off, there are no lights on the pathway to let you see. Mind you, that the steep narrow path you must walk to connect to the road is at the hill edge. Pictures don't do justice to the aghast this place can leave you in. I do feel that traveling websites must verify the property before showing it available to the customers. This place was sheer disappointment because of which I am assuming that the positive reviews are also paid reviews.

The location is good and peaceful but the the food was pathetic. The person who was taking care of kitchen things didn't want to cook anything he denied for availability of everything. We had to walk more than one kilometres to order mex veg and for daal that person just said they have yellow daal and rajma nothing else in dinner. He was kind of avoiding to put efforts. We ordered Rajma and while eating I realised that it was not fresh boiled and little smelly. I didn't have it much. From the next morning only my husband and I have been suffering from stomach food infaction. Rooms are good, location is good but they need to work on their staff service. For us it was pathetic experience

Hotel location was awesome but road is steep.
But weather and location was awesome.
Food was not tasty but you can try Maggie and alu parantha.

I stayed there with my office mates. We were 13 people together and none of us disliked the place. we all loved it. Food and staff are the USPs. The best part of the location is the view from it. A 5 minutes trek to reach however, a little risky for elderly but fun for youngsters. A must visit destination in Kanatal.

You have to walk from the main road to reach the resort. Rooms and service is really good 5/5 for the both room and services. Staff and owner both are really nice and welcoming. Although view was just ok ok. But else everything is good.

I was there in mid December and it was really awsm resort with a amazing view , the rooms are soo clean and stafff is very friendly and helpful. And the second thing that this is my second place where i really enjoy the weather and the view. Amazing experience with life resorts kanatal, Thankyou for you hospitality ♥️

I was highly impressed by the behaviour of staff. I would like to say a big thank to the cook who made each and every item we ordered, with perfection...delicious and highly satisfying food.
I have visited Life Resort 4 times and looking forward to visit again soon. I will edit this review after my next visit if i find anything worth mentioning whether good or bed.
