JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa

Cant stop bragging about this place to my family and friends. At the altitude of the hotel the food the place the ambience & the hospitality cant get better than this. I'm normally very stingy with my food critic- but Trout trumps north indian cuisine at this lovely hill station.
Perfect sun downer place lovely serene views set the scene perfectly for a nice evening to follow. The drinks are very good. They serve well branded alcohol. The concoctions the mixing the off menu drinks are worth a shot. Pair them up with the lip smacking north indians starters and you will see why this restaurant has earned its reputation as a favorite.
Coming from Delhi I approach north indian cuisine restaurants with a great deal of suspicion, but boy am I'm glad I was pleasantly surprised how good the food is. The sole fish, chicken tandoori starters are worth a mention. The mutton is soft and tender.
The queen of all dishes was the biryani. Hands down the most distinguished biryani in taste and the quality of mutton pips the others.
Special mention for sukhveer rajesh and sachin for giving us company and sharing local stories and also some spooky tales. Just made the night memorable.
I'm a strong advocate for this restaurant. Must try !!

Excellent location - Between Mall road and Kempty falls. Courteous staff. Buffet spread (Breakfast and dinner) is stupendous. Three restaurants to choose from which is great. Vast property. Hygienic and maintained. Kids zone rides and certain outdoor activities such as trampoline should've been complimentary. High tea snacks items can be significantly improved.

We stopped by JW for an evening Dinner and a normal family meal turned into a Birthday Celebration for my Nieces. Staff was amazing and gave us one of the best dining experience in Missouri. They organized a small event for our toddlers and in general kept an eye on them allowing the adults to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather pared with equally great cuisine.

My only regret is, I wish we had stayed at JW instead of somewhere else, which we definitely intend to not repeat next time we are here.

This hotel has surpassed all benchmarks of hospitality and amenities. It’s a memory which will go for a lifetime... the duration of the sty doesn’t matter the experience was above our expectations in all aspects of food, facilities and warmth of the staff. This is a gem and one should definitely go that extra mile to spend time here.

The location is very pretty and beautiful 😍you can see mountains every day with a glimpse of clouds 💕 rooms are very nice but the staff is really slow. If u order anything it takes 2 hours to reach your room. Otherwise, everything is great 💙 U won't find anything to eat or shop nearby u at least have to go 2 hours drive

We stayed at JW Marriott Mussoorie for two nights. It was a beautiful experience. Staff is very helpful and kind. They go above and beyond to help you out. The Hotel loves pampering you and is very generous, was given 2 complimentary cakes and gifts. We had lunch at Wisteria Deck and dinner at the multi cuisine restaurant and the food was very nice with unique twist, they include lot of local veges of Himalaya and is health focused.
Hotel also offers lot of in house activities but we were not able to participate, they also have free kids entertainment zone. I highly recommended staying at the Hotel.

The property is absolutely fantastic. The rates are a bit on the higher side, but to have something like this built on the hills and the upkeep will be expensive and so are the rooms. The staff is friendly and nice. The food is also great. This property has everything that one would want. There is even a bowling alley at the property itself. I had a great stay and thanks to Mr. Wasim from the front office for making the stay so very comfortable.

We stayed at JW Mussoorie for our Anniversary this year. it was meant to be a quick family getaway for our family of 4. I am so glad we chose this property for this purpose because we got to spend such good quality time with our children playing bowling, TT, swimming, Archery etc and also ate some of the best food that I have eaten in a long time. The local delicacies like Walnut halwa were just too delicious. Had it been our home, The rooms were spacious. bathroom was just as it should be, spacious, Clean and gorgeous !
The service was up to the mark, even at a super busy time, they staff was prompt.
overall it was a wonderful trip !
Undoubtedly one of the best properties in India. The team takes an extra mile to create a beautiful hospitable environment. Huge shout out to Akanksha for making this stay more than just comfortable and she was very Helpful all in ways . All the services offered were outstanding.
