Beautiful property. Great for the price they charge. The staff is really cooperative. Thanks to dhansingh rawat ji, and Raju bhai for providing us the rooms and facilities as asked for. Go for a foraging trip to the jungle if you are there in summers. Also meet tuntu the cutie dog. Be careful, he is very playful and might nibble.

A very beautiful & really peaceful place. Very small town with virtually no through traffic. Comfortable accommodation at a very affordable price is easily available. There is no issue of food but for other eatables & drink, you should carry with you.

This place had a beautiful view and spacious rooms my family loved the hospitality and food as per their choice. To my surprise we ordered khichdi here and indeed got a homemade food feel while eating it !💗
We came here in the rainy season so the Himalayan ranged were not properly visible but still the view was mesmerizing from our balcony.

Quite a disappointing experience for us over all. The only good points were the view of the city lights of Almora from the balcony and quietness of a secluded location.
The rooms are okayish, but the staff is not hospitable in behaviour. The food is not good at all. Maintenance is not good, the staircases were filled with water for some reason and we were traveling with elder family members which posed a risk. Would not recommend staying here, felt like a waste of time to us.

Instant renovation required. Though service is good and the people are very helpful, KMVN should not provide accomodation to this rest house without repairing and renovation.

Like any other KMVN this place also has basic amenities, don't expect luxury, value for money, Hospitable and courteous staff, Good food, ample parking space, mesmerizing view from top floor rooms especially 201. Visit Syahi Devi Mandir, now there is a motorable road, if you want to trek take a guide (hotel staff) who knows the route through the forest. V.Imp. to reach either take Ranikhet or Almora route, Don't take the road that Google shows via. Kakrighat, it is totally broken.

Such a beautiful place, not crowded, good behaviour of staff, good food, they cook well...very light food, homely atmosphere The rooftop is the best place. Loved this place. Also Trishul peak can be seen from the roof. And in the night the starlit night looks beautiful

Great place to stay within budget. Isolated and peaceful atmosphere. Caretakers were very well behaved and friendly. Decent food if you are not to choosy and fussy.
