Hotel Krishna

Group of 6 including me stayed here for 3 nights in the Family Room of Hotel Krishna. We had a decent experience staying over here. Staff and their service is great and so is the cleanliness of the hotel. Wifi runs low most of the times and being very close to Mall road yet, it requires you to climb at least 50 stairs to reach the hotel reception else everything was quite decent if you are planning an economic trip.

My mother stayed in this hotel in Sep and it was a perfect one. The Luxury room is very spacious, has 2 fans and a dedicated balcony with a table and 2 chairs for a nice morning/evening tea. The room had a beautiful view of the Lake. The hotel staff and room service were helpful and very prompt. They even responded to our requests late at night (especially for hot water). Didn't eat anything at their restaurant but had tea in the room which was nice and came in flask. Rooms are very clean and were kept clean by the staff each day of our stay. The linens were duly replaced as well. They also had a dedicated cab which took us for sightseeing at decent cost.

All in all a great and comfortable stay at Hotel Krishna. The only thing which might bother you is the 70-80 steps you take to reach the hotel from the street below.

Hotel was good, scenic view of Naini Lake from room window, was close to main Nainital mall road. All basic amenities were provided. Room service was good.

Overall safe and comfortable stay.
Internet/Wifi can be improved for WFH type scenarios.

service is excellent , all staff behaviour is good 👌 always you will feel like that Krishna hotel is our home 🏠.
please without hesitation take this hotel it's totally worth of money.
if need vehicle for site seen Krishna hotel will provide with good driver with reasonable price.
Hotel Krishna food I tested it was yummy 😋 Never you will get disappointed.

Looooots of stairs to climb and get down from Hotel. They would send bell boys for luggage but eventually you'll have to climb everytime you will travel to some spot nearby. Food us extraordinally expensive and quantity is pathetic for 2 people. Avoid ordering within hotel. There are good eateries nearby. The lamps over side table don't work. Furnitures are very old and cranky. We requested for cold drink at night, they said it's not available at all, next morning at checkout they said we don't keep in hotel but we'll get for you from market(double standards). We had to request for water a thousand times, then they would bring us once.

In a nutshell, avoid this hotel if possible. Except for location, nothing on positive side for this hotel.

We booked one family apartment and two lake view rooms. The food was delicious at breakfast and lunch that we ate there. Room service was also good. It is located at best location at Mall road.

1.There is no lift in the hotel and you have to walk a lot to get to the hotel room. UNSUITABLE FOR ELDERLY.
2. NO REFRESHMENTS IN HOTEL ROOM. The owners are stuck in the old era, they dont even provide a complimentary packaged water bottle per day. They give tap water in filled in normal bottles. What are u going to do saving that 15 Rs? No coffee tea sachets etc also.
3. Hotel is pure veg, should've checked that beforehand. Anyway outside food is allowed.
4. The worker boys are VERY GOOD. Very polite and helpful, no complaints with them. Those two stars are only for them.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean, Hotel staff is very polite and the room service is good. Though hotel can improve some services like providing electric kettles, tooth paste etc. as they are charging enough money. Overall the stay was good. Room location is also good though you have to climb stairs to reach hotel and rooms are also on multiple floors and no lift is there. For old age people I will not recommend. Almost all rooms are lake view.
