Taraji Resort Hotel & Restaurant

Taraji resort is an experience . I had booked 2 Lagoon Terrace rooms for 3 nights and 4 days stay. Right from the pickup at the Airport to the welcome at the resort the tone was set for the stay. Service was exemplary from the staff the various amenities. The resort has a private small small plant in hotel primises , super clean and lots of privacy. The rooms balcony overlook the lotus ponds which are spread out throughout the property. Rooms are modern and have the amenities of a world class resort. Food at the restaurant was excellent , we had booked a package for all meals inclusive and was worth every dime spent. The variety they serve caters to all tastes from continental , Indian and worldwide mix. Great outdoor garden and out looks. The property is beautiful with Portuguese architecture and Indian blend. Best part of the stay is the service of the staff. Right from from front desk , restaurant staff , help desk , room service is all top notch. Will definitely check out their other properties in India next. Happy Customer. Durgesh English communication and speaking was a good translate. His body language is good for understanding.

We stayed on 29th December '22. The room was good but the geyser was a problem. The staff were curtious and as it waa very cold in the night provided us with room heater too.The food in the restaurant was excellent including the buffet breakfast and the staff in the restaurant too were very nice.Overall a nice experience!!!

I booked this for my client, had very worst experience. Not clean rooms, each you have to demand like kettle, towel etc. Rooms changed 2 times. Moreover it is like marriage hall, my client faced loudspeaker upto 2 am instead giving repeated complaints to reception & manager.

Hotel Manager is lost, everything else is top class. The reception guy must be more aware about his/her behaviour and kindness in his/her talks which is missing here.

The manager should learn how to talk to the guest rather than being proud of a manager of such big and expensive property. Rest is fine there. A must go place.

Excellent service starting from security check , cleaning to serving everything which is need in hotel. Room were clean and hygienic. Top quality service with nice ambiance . Staff is very polite, good in attitude and behaviour. Pets not allowed in hotel hence even pet owners can visit. Top quality room essentials and other grooming products provided in room. All safety measures along with other necessary facilities are provided with excellence.Excellent rooms for couples, family for stay.Thank you for a such wonderful experience Taraji team.I would surely recommend everyone to visit this hotel.Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Here marriage arrange was super sofas, chair and all tentage was super quality like that international style. Hotel decoration decoration clothes design was also superb.hence atmosphere was like heaven in night after decoration of the lawn. All staff and managers was so cooperative. Only one hotel Taraji resort is best for marriage function and room.I went to taraji for my wedding anniversary celebration.
Initially, I was a little hesitant about whether it would be worth going so far (by self-drive) but to my surprise, this was one of the best stays of my life so far.
Worth every penny (I think positive reviews over the internet are proof of it). let me share my genuine views:

In nutshell, the taraji staff was so humble and courteous, I have been to many good resorts in the past but you guys nailed it. I think without your efforts my stay wouldn’t have been so pleasant.
Coming to rating (10/10 in all aspects) :
Room - Huge, clean, best of class, a unique concept of an indoor pool.
Services - Humble & Caring staff, Quick response
Decoration - 10/10, they did more than what I expected.
Food - 9.7/10, lots of options and fresh food.
Ambiance - 10/10, Photogenic place, you will find lots of unique photography points.

Actual rating should be minus five (-5) . I booked Taraji resort hotel and restaurant looks decent and had good reputation so I booked for my sister wedding on 12 Feb 2023.
They committed beautiful wedding and we paid them advance booking amount.
Before my sister wedding we didn’t inquire much since the hotel had good location and market reputation. Which was a terrible mistake .

On the function day I was shocked to see the arrangements.
• Decoration- It was below standard. They have hardly used any fresh flowers in the decoration mentioned in their package.
• Furniture – Sofas were okay but tables and chairs were very old style .
• Lights in the lawn- less and dull for the wedding function, should have been more brighter .
• Food - were great , since we hired outside caters .

• DJ - i had biggest surprise of the day —just before the wedding found out that there was no DJ included in the package , when clearly mention that i need permission after 10pm to play the DJ. They expect me to read between the lines and magically know without them telling me that I had to arrange my own DJ . I literally had to beg them for DJ , and do some last minute arrangements which they did within 15 min , wanna know how ? It was sitting in the hotel only and waiting for Me to pay extra 8 grand . I had never seen such a small and bad one in any function and they didn’t even cleaned the DJ area .
• Vedi/Mandap– They have placed mattresses without bedsheets
• Stage – Not good sofa for the bride and groom, dull lights and decoration
• VIP Lounge – Below Average
• Entry of the venue was okay could have been lot better .

Above all the biggest disappointing was management of TaraJi resort . Specifically the Duty manager on reception was absolutely joke . He had no clue what he was doing . Didn’t ask us once if we need anything or about our experience. He Had really bad attitude didn’t know how to talk to the Customer. I have been in the hospitality business since 2008 and haven’t came across a manager like him . He didn’t even say sorry once not for the DJ , he forgot to put the bride and groom marriage day sign . Which we selected a week before . Had no concerns whatsoever.
I would really not recommend anyone to plan their wedding at this venue and spoil the D-day, until they change their managers.

Location is perfect. This resort has an mesmerising view when decorated, Hall is quite spacious and Foods quality is amazing. Room service and amenities in rooms are not upto the mark otherwise all good here.
