10/10 recommend this hotel to everybody.
Super warm host, great hotel at a good location. Checks all the points you'd worry about when booking a hotel online. Rooms, sheets and bathrooms were extremely clean. Max, the host and owner, is very kind, helpful and accommodating. The price performance ratio is also good.

During my three nights stay I felt like being at home. Max is a very kind and interesting person. The homemade food was good and the rooms clean. The area is quite typical for Indian cities, a bit dirty and hectic but very authentic. There is good outdoor food and you get easy to all sightseeing spots with Tuktuk.

This place is just the best hotel we stayed in India after 2weeks of traveling: Max is an extremely kind, helpful and generous host. Not only food is great he also propose to drop early in the morning his guests to Taj Mahal for a 100R.
The location could be a bit better but there is a high potential with his building and I'm sure Max will stay the first hotel in Agra for a long time.

We had an amazing stay at Max’s guesthouse, we couldn’t recommend it more. Max is a great host and attentive. He would always check if everything was okay, if we needed anything. The food was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Comfy rooms and hot showers 😊
Max organised for us to be picked up from the station, and even though the train was delayed our driver was waiting outside for us with a sign.

Great value for money, super host!
Everything went well! Bed was comfortable. Wifi was great. There is basic gym equipment in the basement which is a plus if you're into that! Great to be able to grab water bottles and toilet paper when needed, rather than having to ask for it! Nice local food options within easy walking distance. Easy to Uber to the Taj or elsewhere in Agra as needed. Max is a really nice and easy-going host.

Max is a really nice host who will help you and provide you with anything you need around agra and traveling.
The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean with hot water.
Also there are cool sozial places.
10/10 would book again

Max is an excellent host running a great guest house. The rooms are simple, but do the job. Everything was clean and safe, and Max was able to help us with all our needs and provide good advice on local attractions. The rooms are not luxurious, but for the price it's excellent value.

We enjoyed our stay in Max‘s Guesthouse. He was very helpful with offering to organize transportations or guides. His mom is cooking food at his place but he gave us good recommendations for street food places as well. The pictures of the rooms are exactly how you will find them. There was a shower with hot water and Max gave us extra blankets. We can recommend choosing Max Guest House.
