Regency Kanchipuram by GRT Hotels

Hotel is located middle of the city. Transportation connectivity is very high. It just takes 10 to 20 min to most of the temples surrounded by from the hotel.
The rooms are clean and are spacious. Your trip will be pleasant.
Hotel staff are very helpful and generous. They will give complete information about temples surrounded by.
Although food price is high, they have so many options and very tasty food. Especially breakfast is fantastic buffet.
Happy to visit once again.

The hotel as such is not that bad for the two star but the mosque next door makes it impossible to stay. It shares wall with the property. They play high volume songs at 6:30am and the songs continue throughout the day.. there was no sleep n no rest because of it. Unfortunately property cannot do anything about it but I don’t think I would go back!
Breakfast spread was good, courteous staff and good rooms. Room size could have been bigger. The entrance is choked with vehicles. I sincerely wish GRT stands up to its brand name.
If you are booking at least ask for a room farthest from the mosque

The manager and staff are very cooperative and humble. They go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The temples and major saree shops are easily accessible from here.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. I had booked the suite room through one of the online websites which gave me a great discount. The hotel is situated in the main market and our check-in was smooth.

The rooms are cozy and we'll maintained, the staff are polite and quite friendly.

The breakfast was elaborate and had all the options that a 5 star hotel serves.

All in all a good and peaceful stay...

Rooms were fairly good. Way to the hotel was narrow. Small area. Breakfast was good. Food at restaurant was great. Within walking distance to many shops. Had some issues with billing but front desk staff was fast to solve without any trouble. Very talented and responsible staff.

I was there for food and i ordered creamy white pasta which was very good. Also loved the cold coffee. Absolutely happy with quality and quantity of the food served. The ambience is pleasant, washrooms are clean and hygienic. The staff is super helpful and polite, Raveena was one of the staff members who took care of me personally. She was very sweet , helpful, caring and me feel homely. Its due to staff like her that j visited the hotel one more time before departing kanchipuram, making my experience great

While i have stayed multiple times, the room size can be better. The hotel needs to understand changing customer expectations and plan the modification. Even for a two member family, the room and cot sizes are small. Besides hardly any space in the room to move about.

we were there for lunch in their restaurant. we didn't stay there.
we had buffet lunch, which was extremely good. it was pure vegetarian, we were interested only in the veg buffet. non veg can be ordered, we were told.
service was excellent. food quality and the presentation were very good. we highly recommend this for veg buffet. spread was good. staff are commendable.
difficult to identify the location. it is in a busy road and the entrance is too small for this type of hotel
