Hotel SP Grand

Good hospitality nd well maintained rooms nd beds, service also quite gud, only negative is they don't hav lift, yo hav to take steps that's the only cons i cud see

Poor service. No proper ac and fan, water leaks from every where. No proper placement of switch boards. It has a very bad odour and it’s through out the building even in rooms. Overall a very bad experience.

It is worst experience stay at SP grand karur.
The room was alloted in third floor, no lift facilities. In room there is fungal smell and can't flush in western toilet . No bed sheets provided. Dirty flooring , steel cupboard and curtains. Intercom also not working, The name only grand. But no grand . It is sorry to say booking through
Goibibo.

everything was upto the rate ,and best place to stay ,within budget

When I reached hotel at 5AM, the manager said that there's no room for bookers who comes early than the designated time slots. This place doesn't connect with Chennai with any train during day time. Hence I used the available option of evening train and reached the destination early morning. But without considering the non-availability of traveling options from the booking place, the manager said he won't bother about all those things and simply said room was not available. But he said that if I book directly with them then he would give room even if I had come early. Then with great difficulty I got a room on the 4th floor. The hotel doesn't have any lift facilities even though it had rooms on the 4th floor. Here I want to ask the Government authorities, how come they gave permission to hotel management to construct 4th floor without lift facilities even though it is a commercial entity... Other minus includes the hotel doesn't provide you with towels, toiletries and night lamps as well. Even the fan in 406E room was making a lot of noise.On the flip side, the only positive was, that the room was quite neat and clean and provide hot water for bathing.

Few Years back, I stayed in Hotel SP Grand in Karur, Tamil Nadu and it was a great experience.

The room service was great.

The Breakfast was tasty and awesome. Still there is a scope of improvement by introducing more menus and options.

Overall it is a nice experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay @ Hotel SP Grand in Karur, Tamil Nadu and would recommend the same to you.

1. This hotel isn't worth for a night stay. I would say Rs 800 to Rs1000 will do. 2. Don't expect rooms to be big, it might be 150 sqft.3. Cleanliness: Room, Bed and Bathroom were clean, no doubt.4. Beware of holes in the room main door. The locks were removed, so the holes were there and they haven't closed it.5. For bachelors it fine. but for family stay take precautionary measures.
