Mantra Koodam - CGH Earth

Below standard food. Room interiors are typical of any hotel of this class. Slow service.
We stayed at Visalam, Karaikudi. Difference of heaven and earth. Great rooms, great service that goes beyond requirements of duty. Outstanding, brilliant food. Both places belong to the same hotel group, but there is an immense difference

The ambience and experience was tranquilizing though the rain caused a little disruption in the beginning. All the staff we encountered were kind, polite and friendly. Service very efficient.
Suggestions: the bathroom could be improved. Though rustic and naturalistic the roofing could be covered with plain transparent plastic to avoid rain. Bathroom antislip slippers could be provided, especially when we have elderly people. Thank you

Beautiful ambience , close to nature , very calming and relaxing Enviornment . The staff is friendly and interactive. They have small activists like fish feeding , bulacart ride etc . You can choose to relax at the resort or even visit temples around, the beautiful architecture .
The food is average , I was expecting pure South Indian flavours.
Though they since they are catering to many foreign crowd - so you will not get authentic South Indian flavours.
Some of the things are not available in the menu. The breakfast was great.

Over all worth it.. you can unwind there.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience staying in this serene and quiet resort. Out of the world experience. My son and I had a good time taking in the beauty of nature and enjoying the scenic view of the resort. The idea of such a setting away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life is simply wonderful.
However, I will want to come again to the resort simply because of the humble and friendly staffs of the said place. You have a range of wonderful employees who are great in representing humbleness and respect. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely come again. Have started recommending a few good friends too... 💞

What a gorgeous property! It's well maintained property, aesthetically well done.
The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well appointed. The linens were very comfortable.
The food was very delicious.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
They pay special attention to being eco friendly.

Great hospitality, hygienically maintained surroundings and amazing food! We had an enjoyable and a relaxed stay at Mantra Koodam. I would like to add that the rooms were exceptionally clean and the bathrooms very neat . Loved the concept of an airy and a well ventilated bathroom. The staff is very polite and humble and very helpful with a smiling face. The ambience is aesthetically done, wanting you to come again and again.

Calm and beautiful place. The food was good and we received great service from all the staff working at the restaurant.

The room we stayed in had a portion of roof open in the bathroom. I would like to suggest covering the open roof with a transparent panel. We found a frog on day 1. And when it rained on the second day, the entire bathroom got completely wet and made it difficult to use.

Otherwise, it's a fantastic place to stay. The property is very well maintained.

Stayed in Mantra Cottage in Dec 2022.
Plus:
- Nice property even though the approach road to the property is not that great
- Room was comfortable, clean, A/C and hot water were really good
- Staff was very friendly - but they need training to be a little more professional and proactive
- Enjoyed the peacocks, ambience, the tea kadai, etc
- Good breakfast
- activities like pottery, etc
Minus:
- the toilet area was not dry
- it had bathroom with open ceiling so a frog came into the bathroom and it was not pleasant!
- there were a couple of dead cockroaches in the room
- unless you are really for a nice property with great ambience but not that great a room, the value for money for the room is not that great!
