Hotel Nakshatra Inn

This was one of the best hotels in Tuticorin City. The rooms are very well maintained. For direct booking 24hrs check out is provided. Their staff is also very Good. For official purposes I have been staying in the hotel for the last 6 years and their quality remains the same. Overall worth for Money. They don't have a restaurant inside.

Rooms are Neat & Clean. Receptionists are very friendly. Staffs I encountered are lazy and hesitated to carry luggage to the room. Fan was either superfast or very slow - there is no in-between. Very little parking space in Hotel. Overall - worthy for money.

Excellent rooms and features like air con and water heater for bath , great electric works ,safe and sound . But the rooms aren't sound proof . You could hear people speaking in the corridor clearly while inside the room . There's some small cracks on floor in our room we stayed . Overall: Nice service, perfect hotel in town

Small hotel with 25 rooms but very well maintained. Rooms are very clean, BED Linen, curtains, towels very clean. Staff very courteous and helpful. For a Busineaa Traveller WIFi should slightly be amplified so it is available everywhere in the room. A restaurant can be added bonus so roomrates include breakfast. Pleasant stay and would like to stay there again when visiting Tuticorin.

This is a budget friendly hotel with average sized rooms. The rooms had no view. We were there for a relative's death. It was a last minute booking and to our surprise we got a place to stay. The stay was smooth and really pleasant. The receptionist was very humble and asked abt my purpose of visit to help with navigation. Myself and my wife went there and felt very safe. It was not a vacation for us we were very low and puzzled with our loss but, the stay was very soothing and catered our needs very well. We reached the hotel by 10:30pm checked in our lugguage and went to our relative's place and came back by 12:30am they were very well accommodating and understood our feelings and kept their calm. Overall a very good place to stay.

Note: Car parking is minimal 3-4 hatchbacks or 2 -3 suvs can be parked inside the hotel at night any extra cars can be parked ouside the hotel around the Koil Theppa kulam. It is situated at the centre to places of interest. But, yet in a calm road. Thoothukudi - Melur railway station is just walkable distance. They have no inhouse restaurant but, the room boys will get you food from nearby hotels. They gave us full toiletries with two big towels. A jar full of RO drinking water. Room had a medium size tv along with Voltas Ac. They had Geaser but, we had to call them to switch it on from reception as it was untime when we returned. Our needs were addressed with a smile and to our best satisfaction.

An Excellent place to stay. Tariff is affordable. Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were very nice too. I would certainly recommend for staying in Tuticorin
