The Grange Hotel

Kudos to the Hotel Grange team! Awesome room, hygienic, clean, well maintained property, nice ambience and view! we stayed in this hotel for 3nights along with my kid. Hotel is in heart of the city and close to major attractions.The staff was very helpful and specially AJAY. breakfast was provided in junior kuppana, which is located inside the hotel premise. Overall no issues, we are totally satisfied, and it made our 4-day trip memorable.

Pro: Very good Heritage Hotel, awesome Hospitality, good hygiene and cleanliness, all basic amenities available. great location, all tourist places within 15 mins of reach. Affordable prices, comparing to other heritage hotels.
Cons: parking area shared with a restaurant in-front . Also No In-House kitchen, you have to visit nearby restaurants/Dine-in. However if you order via Zomato/swiggy , they do provide all basic cutlery.

I was staying in that hotel for 2 nights 3 days, our package was with dinner. But when they reached there, even after taking the order for dinner, they could not serve us a proper dish, the cook there could not prepare the food. When I asked, they said that we only get south food here. If so, the hotel management should inform the same in advance. And only this hotel should be given to the people of South. Don't bother with the food of others. Very bad dinner on both nights. Hotel management gave us a bad experience.
Otherwise hotel was good.

This is a good option if you would like to stay within Ooty city centre. The place is atmospheric, rooms are clean, mattress comfortable and blankets keep you quite warm (which we appreciated in the cold Ooty weather). They have good parking facilities. The only slight downside is that the attached restaurant gets quite busy during breakfast time, but the food is excellent, and makes the wait worthwhile!

We had booked almost all the rooms in this property for 2 days. The property is very well maintained and beautiful and rooms are very good also room service is good. It has very big parking space so if you coming with your vehicle there will be no issue with parking. They have in house resturent which provides you great options in non veg. Also if you opt for breakfast it has good food option in veg too. Swiggy also works here. Special thanks to Ajay who helped us to resolve our all queries and also arranged us the veg north indian food from outside.

We had a short 1 night/2 day stay at The Grange, with family.

Pros
1. Accessbility - Easily accessible as it is on Coonoor - Ooty main road, just before Charing Cross jn.
2. Location - Walkable distance to Botanical Garden, restaurants
3. Ample parking
4. Spacious room and clean bathrooms

Cons
1. No room service as there is no restaurant in this property. They have a Junior Kuppanna restaurant on site, but guests have to dine in from there.
2. No complimentary breakfast provided with stay (which almost all other hotels give), not even as an option

The negatives above are not deal brakers but a minor inconvenience, as there are lot's of restaurants and cafe's within walkable distance. Overall impressions are very good, it's a good property and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely consider coming back!

Pros are good location, good rooms and friendly staff with good breakfast.
Cons are hot water issue at night, mostly no one is available at reception, so we directly call on mobile.
We've paid 1k extra cash for heater which seems reasonable. For online, they are asking for extra taxes, so we paid cash.

Ambient was good but staff behavior is very worst in town. They even not coming for order taking Somebody tell me how to put zero star because this people does not deserve any appreciation at all
