HOTEL AMBA REGENCY

I happened upon Amba when my taxi stopped next door.
A great place with friendly helpful reception staff and stunning views.
There was some building work happening and it was off season so I got a great deal on room 501 with a huge terrace and amazing views.
The rooftop restaurant and bar has even better views. Vegetarian dishes only. The hotel is well located close to MG Marg and transport options.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing and generous. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting hills and want beautiful mountain scenery from their room itself. The 100% pure veg roof top restaurant is cherry on the top❤️

Awesome experience! location is very close to MG Marg...Accommodation,Service and Food is also very good.. Special attraction is roof top restaurant. Atlast Excellence behavior from Manager to Service boys, who are asset for this hotel...

It was a beautiful setting, love the vibe, the lighting and the service. Food was good too! Must visit if you are looking for something that has good vibes, let you smoke n drink as well lol! Love this place, will visit again :)

The hotel is located at the most prime location in Gangtok. It's hardly few mins walk from the famous MG Market and Lal Bazar Market.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped with all basic amenities.

When we checked in, we didn't have any towels in the room. I asked a staff member for towels and within mins he got me a single towel saying that other towel would be available when the laundry is done. Though we never got the 2nd towel. Also the towel had a very strange hard smell, must have been the laundry detergent for sure I guess.

Anyways, food was very good though. They have their own rooftop restaurant where they serve food as well as drinks. Having hot food along with old monk and having dinner on a chilly winter night at the rooftop is just what you need while you're holidaying with your bae.

Ironically the hotel had no smoking signs almost everywhere when the entire corridor was polluted with smoke.

Rest the hotel is nice for a quick stay for a day or 2 maybe. Staff is also nice. Overall a good hotel to stay.

We booked Amba regency for 3 nights, we had booked a different room but we got a free upgrade to the suite which was a really the best room. It was was well maintained with a huge attached balcony from where you can see the mesmerizing view of Kanchenjunga peak. The food they serve is pure vegetarian. The hotel does not serve non vegetarian food and food is very delicious. It also has a rooftop restaurant which is amazing and well managed with good staff. MG marg is hardly 5/7 minutes walking distance. Thanks to Mr. Amrit Chettri for his valuable support and guidance ,who looked after our every requirement very graciously.

Awesome Location.. Great place to stay. Marvelous rooftop restaurant and bar. Rooms and Room service all First class. No complaints with anything. Me and my homies went on a trip to Sikkim and stayed here for 3 days. We all are fully happy and satisfied with everything. Kindly find the pictures and video for your reference. 👌👌👌❤️

Average hotel. Good view of Sunset from room and rooftop bar and veg restaurant. For ₹2k per night it is bit costly. Walkable distance from M.G. marg for shopping.
