Hotel Snow Valley

Cold Places like Lachen it's quite a nice & comfortable budget stay with homely food.
We stayed at their top floor rooms which are better in all aspects than the other rooms.
The best part is -
They have geysers in all rooms.

The Location of this hotel is good, you can see the peaks very nicely. The service and the behaviour is very good. The rooms are however small. WiFi connection is a good point. The location is also good.

It was a nightmare for us. No basic facilities at all. The workmen/servants are non local and they don't have basic knowledge of room service maintenance etc. The owner was also adamant in his replies when asked him about basic facilities.

Hotel Snow Valley is situated at Lachen,in North Sikkim district in the Indian state of Sikkim.It is located at an altitude of 8840 ft.Room is really well maintained and decorated.You will get common kitchen.You will get Geyser at attached bathroom.But in general, power cut is a common phenomenon of Lachen. Mr.Fensung,the owner of the place is really a very cordial person.

Worst rooms and service, they are taking advantage of tourists necessity, worst food I had in Sikkim, there is no hot water, they will give the reason as no electricity for geysers. Don't take the package if this hotel is included in your package. They will say this is a 3* hotel but they don't have basic amenities.

A beautiful hotel, specially the staff are so caring and helpful. Room was specious with mountain view. Food was delicious and affordable.

Felt more like a transit lodge. Extremely cold and does not have any amenities in the room. Though our expectation was set that we would not be getting any heater, but the bathroom windows were broken which made the room too cold. The only respite was that the food was simple and good.

Average place, but in lachen any place that offers clean bed and hot food is excellent! Commendable job to serve in such terrain difficulty. Basically lachen is a very remote place so you can't expect the kind of city hotel that provide us with. A staff member called Mr. Anil he was very polite and nice to us. But frequent power cuts, flush and hot water problems. These people are trying the best with limited sources.
