Rhenock House

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and this place has the most amazing views and well maintained rooms. It is clean and well kept. The food is good too. Warm and friendly staff and the owner kept checking on us everyday. Lovely experience and I will recommend this place to everyone visiting Gangtok. You will not be disappointed for sure.

Loved every bit of our stay. You feel extremely welcome at the property with courteous and helping staffs. The hygiene and upkeep is exceedingly praiseworthy. Excellent service and staff behaviours make your stay a supremely unique experience right from your breakfast table through to the time you retire to bed. Rhenock House is one of the most peaceful places to stay in the otherwise busy city of Gangtok. It has an old world charm as you enter the building; with lush green entrance leading into a drawing room-cum-reception area that has relics of Sikkim, paintings and photographs tracing down Sikkemese history and diligently assorted shelves of books. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Here, you would not need a rooftop restaurant to enjoy the views, take a place at the window seat of your room and that'd be all. But the most wonderful part of our stay was Mr. Ravi Pradhan, the very humble and always ready to help owner of the place. When he learnt that we wanted to visit Rumtek Monastery, he managed to get us a driver, fixed up a reasonable deal for us, all by himself, and guided us through the most picturesque roads on the way. He even suggested a restaurant for lunch, one that turned out to be another exclusive experience. If you are in Gangtok, stay at Rhenock for homely yet exquisite experience. f you are a foodie, it is better to tell them your preferences when you book so that they can prepare the same. Remember it is a homestay sort and not a complete hotel.

Good place to stay. They have a good space and outside garden and a small nursery. Staff is very courteous.

Pleasantly inviting place. Hospitality and coordination by Raj, Om and Krishna were top notch. They got a perfectly fitting tagline “homely hotel” and we did not feel like leaving. Beautiful and inspirational interiors and lush green garden. Centrally located and I recommend to stay at least few nights. Thumbs-up.

Rhenock House is a mini heaven in this wonderful city. It is situated in a quiet and serene location about 1.5km towards north of MG Marg. We stayed there 5 days from 28th December 2022 when the temperature was in the range of 5 to 8 degree C. The owner Mr Ravi Pradhan and his 5 staff provided the best possible experience of hospitality. On our request vehicle for Bagdogra airport pickup, Sikkim tour and airport drop was arranged by Mr Ravi and his team. Room was very spacious, clean with all necessary amenities including comfortable bed, cushion chairs, working table, cupboard, modern room heater, kettle, geyser, toiletries. Restaurant is in GF with a sit out and a nice garden. Breakfast and dinner are available in hotel. Several payment options are available including net banking, G pay. Every place in the hotel premise is aesthetically decorated, providing an excellent ambience.

Had a great stay with my dog. The owner and staff are very helpful. Great stay. Room was very well maintained.
