In 365 days I wait for puja vacation. because this time of the year i plan for a bike ride. This year i planned for gurudongmar ride. "Accidentally" i booked monomita residency at lachen.

Let's come to the point,
I had One of the worst experiences staying in this property.Their service were the worst, like their food, their hospitality, their room. And the manager Anshuman banerjee's behaviour was not at all welcoming, being in the hospitality profession,is this what is to be delivered to the customers???

Awsome hospitality by Sukumar! Nice & cozy property! Fresh & tasty food! Humble behavior of stuff! We felt very comfortable @Monomita residency!

Staff is very good good. Sukumar is a lovely host. Food is good. Plain Bengali food is available. Good one night stay

Lachen is a gateway to north Sikkim where tourists camp and visit places around. What one needs is a cozy and hospitable stay, especially in winters when the weather is chilly. Monomita residency is a perfect combination of coziness and hospitality. Sukumar is the all rounder at Monomita who cooks some lip-smacking food. Do remember to order your choice of food in advance as they have to make arrangements as they have to purchase things from a nearby town. Sukumar’s morning tea needs a special mention and to top it up, the tea is ready before the day breaks. Do carry enough warm wear as room heaters and electric blankets are banned in lachen by the local authorities.

Nice Place to stay overnight with family.
Only Con is, if u r planning for winters they don't have Room Heater. Geyser is there though.
All in all good stay & staff behaviour.

Best hotel in Lachen. Room are very clean and hygiene. All staff are good and polite. Food is fabulous 👌.

Guys are good….room was well maintained given the altitude and other tough conditions…budget n worth staying
