OYO 42057 Hotel Park Palace Lachung

The room was very dirty with dirty bedsheets, pillow covers dirty curtains. We asked them to change the bed sheets and pillow covers, even after that the bed sheets were dirty, we managed some how as the stay was only for a night. There was no power supply in the hotel when we arrived, we asked them to switch on the generator, but then the manager was hell-bent on switching off the generator by 2030 hrs. There after there was no power and we had to manage with emergency lights. Even in the morning the hotel management switched on the generator for an hour, so when we asked them to extend it for 30 more mins as we were getting ready, they blatantly refused. So there was no hot water available in the morning. Even during the night we could not turn on the heater as there was no power supply.
The hotel staff was very rude and unprofessional. Execpt 2 people, rest of the staff can't even speak Hindi, which makes communication a big issue.
The hotel is not even worth one star. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Totally useless hotel. I urge the MMT staff to review their rating of this hotel, because from the MMT app, the hotel looks very posh, but the reality is exact opposite.

Well, it leaves a big dent on your wallet but the rooms are good and spacious.

The buffet meals are good and the manager seems to be very involved in his job.

The hotel room was dirty with food crumbs on the floor.The bed covers were dirty used ones.There was rats gnawing in the night at the furniture.The hotel charged us Rs.400 per night for a single coiled room heater which could barely provide warmth. The stay was terrible and nightmarish. Much to our frustrating experience the person at the reception desk was arrogant to the point that when we complained the horrible night we spent,he remarked that he had packed house occupancy and was not even apologetic. I would recommend “don’t ever consider this hotel even if you are in desperate need”.

All the Hotel staffs were well behaved. In affordable range its the best stay in Lachung with a great view around.

1) The room was incapable of making us warm.
2) The heater provided after giving extra charge was not effective more than a foot radius.
3) proper handwash wasn't provided in the bathroom.
4) Tissue papers wasn't provided in the washroom.
5) One of the bed sheets was torn and the hotel didn't pay any heed to our calls on changing it.
6) Only veg food is available, good for the vegetarians. But non vegetarians don't make the mistake.
The veg food was nice and fullfilling, for which I had the thought of giving 1 star.
It is too good to be a 1 star.
