The Ummed Jodhpur Palace Resort & Spa

Dont go by the ratings. This place is really bad when compared to the room rent they are charging. Breakfast is below average. There is no upkeep of the property. You can see more pigeons in the pool than people. Gym area is non operational and looks like has never been cleaned. The only saving grace of this property is the staff. Amazing people who are somehow keeping this property and operational. Service response was superior.but THIS PLACE NEEDS MAINTENANCE.

The property looks excellent! Food is delicious! Royal Courtyard rooms are well maintained! The staff is Very courteous!
Only the no. of staffs recruited compared to the size of the property is extremely less and so is the service- delayed.
Rest everything is fine. Overall a good stay.
Service is slow.

Loved the property but management is little dicy. Faced issues like hot water, room check in, front desk forgetting to complete room decor, forgetting to give morning reminder call. Its pool area was not fully developed. Juice was extra tangy and overall stay was average. Thanks and keep improving :)

Excellent place to stay with family during vacations. Rooms are very good with in-room dine facility. My kids has enjoyed a lot in Swimming pools. Hotel staff has treated very nicely and overall hospitality was excellent especially Thanks to Fnb team always helpful!

The rooms are quite spacious. Lawns are also very big. Better to take a first floor room to have good view. A gift shop. Room service is efficient. Breakfast spread is Satisfactory. Staff is polite & responsive. This is far away from city hustle bustle. This is good if you want a peaceful stay & have your own vehicle. Getting an App based car is difficult. No near by restaurant or shopping areas except a Reliance Fresh store.

Had booked the Princely Suite at the Ummed. Had a wonderful stay and good hospitality.
Just to add a feedback to the hotel:
1. Organize some events for the guests as the hotel is located on the outskirts so there is nothing much to do in evenings for the guests.
2. Live music should be given a proper platform to perform and a seating area for the guest so that they could enjoy the music in evening. The musician is sitting near the restaurant and I suppose it is demoralizing for the artist to see no or limited audience.
3. Halogen lights can be replaced with brighter led lights near passage areas and rooms. It feels a bit dull at night within room and passage areas.
4. Spread of food need to be increased as there were limited veg and non veg options. Otherwise the food was tasty.

Stayed here in Dec 2022. Worth every penny spent. Spacious and large room facilities. View is ultimate in the night. Lot of varieties in the Food for dinner and breakfast. Bit far from City center but nearer to airport. Would recommend this place for comfortable + luxury stay in Jodhpur for avoiding the city.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE & WASTE OF MY FAMILY VACATION TIME.

We flew from US flight, which we all know it’s over 20 hours in more flight time. Once we get to hotel, the manager was bouncing around helping others who was having issues with the room and they left the hotel due to pro customer service and rooms but not focusing on one customer. We even told the manager and he care list about it checked in took over an hour just to get two rooms for six people ONLY.

Rooms was little dirty. The sheets had stains and so did walls. My parents room hot water wasn’t running for the past two days and when we called they kept on saying someone coming to fix the problem, it took three calls and walk to front office to get their attention. Finally maintenance guy came and said the problem has been fix just run water for 10 to 15 minutes and it should work. We rented for 30 minutes no hot water. They didn’t offer to change the rooms.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If I can, I would give negative stars to this place. We were exhausted from our long flight and we receive was just not appreciative and it felt like they didn’t care much about their customers.
