Hotel Shangri-La Jalandhar

1-Jan-2021 - They don't provide kettle or even single water bottle complimentary. Not even coffe pouches or teabags (they say this is because of covid but I stayed in other hotels too during covid and they do provide everything) . they replaced their menu with chatterbox now. Its expensive. Service was good but everything elese was average! Delux room is like guest house room. Mattress's springs was all over the body could not sleep well and their room has grills over the door , thats was the 2nd reason i couldn't sleep because te room was cold. I asked the cleaning guy to give me extra blanket he didn't listen i guess. He ignored I guess. Washroom is ok too. I stayed here before in executive room. that was good experience. Average. Bed wasn't good.increasing your budget by ...will give you 2X better room than heres.I stayed here in March 2020 then Everything was good then .This time I didn't like it here.

Not value for money onky towel in the washroom wr book 1 room for 3 person with 1 connected room bit room soxe is approx 9*9* and washroom size approx 5*3* only also no fridge availble no tea maker no complimentary water bottle.

Old property dirty room not reccomended to all specialy for couples only good things is food qualiti was awesome because hotel restaurant provide food through moti mahal reataurant which insode in the hotel.

Because room space from another room is just 2 feet and room size is very small as i mentioned actually who wants to enjoy a in peacefull location then this hotel is not suitable for those because when ever someone talk on there room which near to my room wr easily hear the same as well because same in this room and size of the room is too small

The hotel is quite affordable and neat and clean and located in very good place in the heart of city,
Room are quite big and spacious and neat,
Only disadvantage is that there is no provision of natural ventilation in any form,
Washroom are quite in good condition, parking facility available here....
Overall recommend

Rooms are very spacious and have affordable price , food was good .. staff behaviour was good.. bathroom condition was not so good bcz shower was not working properly ... specialy Room no 202 ...

TOTAL WASTAGE OF MONEY... IN SUCH HIGH COST...I THINK GUEST HOUSE IS FAR BETTER.. BASIC THINGS ARE SO MESSY .

Decent rooms at the price range and friendly staff

we had a function there. The service was like a nightmare. We were ashamed and even apologize to our guests for hotel staff's poor service.
and what a manager. Truely good for money taking and no responsibility at all.
if you want to harass some one ask him or her to have a function or party at this place.

It's too expensive and doesn't have worth. The room furniture had termites. room floor was cracked. washroom was dirty. Walls were dirty. there was a gap in the door even if you close the main door. any one can see in your room that much of space was there. Landline extension was not working. All the photos are attached with proof.
They have charged of rs. 560 for early check in but they haven't given me reciept of that. they said we will mail it to you but now they are even not answering my call to provide the bill.

I had asked for dinner instead of complementary breakfast but they denied to do so.

Finally I will not recommend any one to stay here. there are multiple hotels nearby with good rate and far better cleanness and hygienic.

I will give them BIG ZERO.

I am waiting for my invoice to get on my mail. If I do not get it then I will file a case against them in consumer court.
