Old Mayor/Governor bungalow converted to Factory Mill by Hidesign converted to Heritage Hotel by same company. The regular rooms have part Heritage part Modern feel but the Luxury Suite is what's really the star attraction. I stayed in the Penthouse room and the Luxury Suite. Had originally booked for the basic duplex room but thankfully got an upgrade... TWICE! The furniture and fixtures are old and creaky. Bathroom fittings, lights etc are just hanging in there. Don't expect too many modern amenities but the hotel staff do the best they can to ensure your stay is as wonderful as it can be. Absolute 5 * rating to the staff. Being a Vegetarian, the breakfast was average. Didn't dine at the hotel restaurant even though it had a 4+ * rating on Zomato. The location is absolutely perfect. Definitely better than their new property 'The Promenade'. A must experience stay.

I had gone there to dine in their famed restaurant. On arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staffs, and escorted to my table. Aswathy was my hostess who greeted me with a beaming smile and guided me in menu. She was very informative and diligent in her work. The food was amazing with a justified bill. The staff too were wonderful. In one word..a truly amazing dining experience.Highly recommended to everyone.

The staffs are so friendly and greets us with warmth and suggests the best dishes out there.
Can go for this place without depending on famous cafes which are rushy and has lot of wait time.

Absolutely loved the food here. The chefs are doing a top notch job. Combined with the food, the classic ambiance of the restaurant added to make up for an out of the world experience for me and my family. Neha, who attended to us for all our orders is a fabulous person and a thoroughly valuable professional amongst the restaurant’s staff. She took good care of us. Definitely recommend👌🏻👌🏻

This is a quaint restaurant in White Town, Pondicherry. The sister restaurant Blueline definitely has a better ambience as it is on the beach. However, this place has an edge over the other on the food itself. The seafood served here is really good. We had the crab cakes and the grilled seafood platter. Both very tasty and enough for 2 people to share. The crab cakes were a bit spicy. Chef Suresh came over personally and spoke to us on the menu. The servers were very friendly.
The only recommendation would be some soft background music would make it a better experience.

Wonderful outdoor and indoor seating giving the most French vibes in the town with delicacies absolutely gorgeous on the plate and the palate. It is a must visit loved the sustainable fishing details on the menu, the staff was very helpful and good. Tip: please reserve a table before your visit

This historic building is made better by the comfortable and clean suites. Room #5 was enhanced with a four poster bed. All of this is accentuated by excellent food, attentive service and a friendly staff. This hotel is in the French quarter only 2 blocks from the promenade along the Bay of Bengal. Be sure to have the filtered coffee.

We organised a team retreat and reserved the entire property, I speak on behalf of 13 people who loved the place. We were in the lap of luxury and history with the best of hospitality. The staff was courteous and so accommodating towards all our out of the box request. All the dishes on the menu are worth trying- my favourite was their in house Belgium chocolate ice-cream.
