Orange Homestay

This is a great hotel to stay in. We were here for 4 nights and everything was comfortable.
They maintain good cleanliness and the rooms are decent in size, although they can be a little bigger especially the bathrooms.
They have parking available for almost 7 to 8 cars and they also provide stay and food for your driver at a cost.
There are a few cons as well to this place for example the rooms are located on the SECOND floor and there is no LIFT. Although the staff will help you with the luggage, it can be a little difficult for elders. Also the LOCATION is a little far away from the main city and there is not much nearby.

a very nice hotel at that budget. Its on the NH6 and is a little away from the main city(which is actually good coz we can avoid the mad traffic in the city). Places like Laitlum Canyons and if you intend to go towards Jowai or Dwaki this is better. The staff are really well behaved. The food is very good and reasonably priced. the rooms are a lil small but has all the amenities and the staff goes out of the way to help. also ample parking space along with very good Wifi speed is available( I needed both as I had self driven and had office work to do as well). They took extra care ro cook food for my 5 year old without any spice. Highly recommend this place!

The home stay provided a picturesque view from the terrace of hills and the sunrise. The terrace has a very spacious common room where 15+ people can easily have a good party.
The rooms and bathrooms were well maintained.
Housekeeping service was prompt and helpful.
The food also tasted good.
The staff was friendly and helpful, a big thanks to Happy, who helped us immensely throughout our stay.
It was a very memorable and worthwhile stay for us, and we hope that the people coming here also experience the same.

Loved this place. Staff is so polite and well mannered. Very professional. Also rooms were clean & the restaurant food was very amazing. We ordered North Indian dish and honestly was not expecting a good taste but to our surprise it was very delicious. There is also a terrace which has a small garden that is well maintained. The place just gave me positive vibes. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful clean rooms. Located at outskirt of Shillong town. Hotel is small but beautiful with gardens and flowers decorative leafs etc.

Room is good medium specious
Not soundproof , we could hear people talking etc

Breakfast is not buffett type but different orders can be given from manu.

Staffs are good, helpful, respectable and responsive.

More of a hotel type homestay on the way between Shillong and cherapunji route (after Shillong main city) . Bit away from town so peaceful. We booked via makemytrip and there were no issues. They said they would provide food also but we ate from the town. Beautiful terrace with excellent view of Shillong. Rooms were clean and spacious

Tucked away from the maddening crowds and noises, a great find on the outskirts.
King room was of decent size but a very clean and comfortable one.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Good food. A well maintained terrace with minimal view. Have parking facility.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again should we return.
