The Leela Mumbai - Resort Style Business Hotel

This is a very pleasant hotel in a brilliant location for it’s convenience to the airport. The selling point is clearly with the staff and personal level of service they provide. The whole hotel from the moment you walk in has a very homely and cosy vibe and for an extended stay it would be comfortable.

My standard room was very spacious and certainly had all the facilities you would hope for. Both within the room and the communal areas though the hotel is starting to look a little dated, with sections getting worn and paint needing touching up. Obviously this doesn’t make it any less comfortable but does take the edge of the five star setting. Sleep quality was great though, with a very comfortable and large bed, no external noise, decent and quiet air-conditioning and a nice sized TV for the room.

The lobby restaurant area is a nice spot to relax in with comfortable seating. The bar next door is much smaller but has some really friendly staff, and sat at the bar they’re happy to engage in conversation, offering recommendations for the area which is nice.

Overall it’s a comfortable hotel which I keep returning to, and no doubt will again. However just don’t expect it to be at the height of luxury as the marketing material might suggest!

The location of this hotel is perfect for a stay during layover in Mumbai international Airport. The property is top notch with a super cool salon and spa. Both of them were perfect to relax before a long haul flight. The breakfast spread is huge and leaves nothing more to desire for. The rooms however are slightly dated for my taste but good for a night stay. Overall great experience.

Excellent hotel to stay at which is near the airport! Pros: large rooms (our room a had a substantial seating area), high shower pressure, close to the metro, and the breakfast spread is varied and delicious! We also appreciated the weighing scale in the room to check our luggage before the flight. As a bonus, the lobby is gorgeous and smells amazing, and the general decor is really lovely. Cons (which are not deal breakers) - for some reason we could not plug anything into most of the outlets in the room which was really frustrating, there was no iron/ironing table in the room. Also there is not a free/recurring airport shuttle, which would have been really convenient for a hotel that is so close to the airport.

One of the best properties in Mumbai. Excellent service every single time. Every team member is absolutely hospitable, polite and courteous.
In room dining delivery is super quick and the food has always been great. Housekeeping staff has always made sure whatever we needed has been got to us in no time.

Had been to this place to attend a wedding. The approach road to the hotel is not great because if there are 5-6 vehicles waiting to enter the premise then that will lead to traffic and continuous honking. But the moment you enter the premise it is quite and serene. Staff is courteous enough to cater to all your queries and guidance. The lobby is huge. You will not find a problem in parking your vehicle as the valet will take over from the entrance of the reception. If you're planning for buffet breakfast then you're in for a treat. Be sure to spend some time by walking around the premise.

Lovely property. The only problem is they give checkin at their standard time only which is 2pm. They don't provide early checkin. You will have to wait till 2pm. No matter if you reach there early in the morning or just one or two hours early. Rooms are good. Food is also very good. Outside food and drinks are allowed but the only prob is you will have to walk down till the entrance gate which is quite far.

We had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at the Leela and it was an unforgettable experience! My sister and I had taken our aged parents to visit Mumbai for old times sake (they lived in Mumbai for 40+ years before relocating to the south). We were a little anxious how it would turn out since none of us had been to Mumbai in ages but we realized we made the right choice, as soon as we checked in at The Leela!!
From the smooth checkin, the delicious food at Great Wall and Citrus and the SPECTACULAR HOSPITALITY by the staff, through out our stay, made this trip memorable. I was a little concerned that the hotel might be a little dated and not up to modern standards but those fears were soon laid to rest. The hotel is maintained meticulously and the decor is ageless. I am just amazed at the cleanliness and overall attention to detail.
