It was an awesome experience staying at Forest Hills , Tala. The ambience is beautiful. The staff is courteous and professional. The tent was aesthetically designed. Bathrooms were clean. Food buffet was lavish . Overall a superb stay. Will definitely visit again.

Me and my husband went to Forest Hills for a 2 night stay and it turned out to be the most beautiful stay ever. We stayed one night in Luxury Tent which has an Amazing View and Peaceful Surroundings and for the second night we stayed in their Carnation Suite which had a Plunge Pool with it and this villa was the highlight of the trip for me.
It was his bday trip and the people there made it very special for us by organising a candle light dinner with cake.
The property itself is So Huge and Beautiful that every corner is a perfect picture frame.
My personal favourite spot was the Sunset Point where the scenery becomes surreal during sunset and its an amazing place to click lots of pictures.
We did Shooting and Archery also ,it was super fun.
loved every bit of our stay.

Great place to stay with friends and family. They have many unique rooms that can cater to different people. We loved the Glass house and room carnition. The food there is amazing and the staff at the restaurant is also very helpful. Overall a great experience.

We came to the property for a visit to understand the facilities and services. For the property visit they; the resort charges Rs.200 per person!

Considering our background from the same industry it was to our great surprise and this was the first ever property amongst all the hotels and and resorts we visited.

We don't expect any great hospitality and Forest Hill has been off the chart to suggest to our guests or to be promoted by us.

Poor etiquettes. Lack of industry knowledge. Worst experience within less than 10 minutes time!!!

Location and property is great ! Staff is courteous - food is BAD- more so when they claim to be a three star. plus they give you an option of a bouffet but its a very limited menu- with sub par food. esp with the price they charge for the packages- not worth the money.

we had awesome stay at forest hill. Location is undoubtedly outstanding...if you love to be in nature ,this is the place for you. we stayed at hermitage room...very spacious and scenic. loved the hospitality …staff is very helping and cooperative. They never say no for anything you ask for. And this is best place if you want to take your furry friend with you.

The maintenance and the service is appalling. The pictures on the website make it look really good but it’s not even close. I’m attaching the pics. We stayed at glass house. They did not service our room for 2 days Inspite of several reminders. The safe wasn’t working. They came and installed a new safe and now that’s not opening and it has all my valuables in it. I’m waiting to check out and the receptionist is not bothered about getting it opened. Really upset with the whole experience. The food was very good. No complaints at all with the kitchen staff etc. They were very good. But it’s not even worth a 3 star service. The bathrooms are disgusting. So unkept. No towels. Just such a bad experience which ruined our family holiday.

We booked hermitage marigold looking at the photos on the website, but it was absolutely different from what was shown. It looked like a dim-lit tent with toilet unkept, shabby towels, bad spring bed & dirty sofa. Hygiene is not something in their dictionary.

They talk about fantastic views from the deck with a small pool, but you legit have to peek to find a small opening between the trees to see any mountains or lake.
The plunge pool is very small (equal to maybe 1 bathtub) so only one person can chill effectively, 2 would be a crowd.

We booked a stay for a 3 nights and the first night we spent at the hermitage, second day we decide to check out if we couldn’t move our rooms. The property boasts of so many rooms of which hardly 10% would have been occupied that week however knowing that we didn’t like our room and were open to moving to any other room in the same category, the management team went through several rounds of chinese whispers and in the end agreed to move us when we said we’ll pay any additional costs.

These guys have no idea what hospitality is. All they care about is the money.

The restaurant food is OK.
Please note, for every meal you’ll need to go down to the restaurant or for any activity you have to take your car out cuz the reception, restaurant, activity and rooms are on different levels of a mountain

For the price we paid, honestly what we got in return was peanuts in hospitality.

So many people have written the truth about this property, so please read through the reviews before you go and spend your hard earned money here.

Thanks.
