The LaLiT Temple View Khajuraho

Amazing hotel! Conveniently located next to the western group of temples. Service and staff both are good.

Note that, they have two sets of room offerings. One in the main building, which is expensive, and the other one in building next to the main building (called "Travelers"), which is economical.

The second building is also part of the same premise.

I had a good family time at The Lalit. Plus it was independence day, so the hotel invited us to the flag hoisting. Very nice experience!!

The hotel staff is courteous, location is Fantastic (v close to western group of temples) , pool side looks nice and garden is beautiful. But the maintenance needs some improvement like AC doesn't cool efficiently, you can find some weird smell and the rooms and washrooms are pretty average compared to 5 star properties.

One of the better properties in the area, the property is big and well maintained. The services are not up to the mark particularly for the tariff they are charging they are short of staff. It took me multiple calls and 25 minutes in an almost empty hotel yesterday. They charged me double the price that was listed in the travel sites.
Food was average and no variety was available in the breakfast.

My friend always wanted a destination wedding for herself. Last month she decided to choose Khajuraho as the destination for her wedding and started looking for the best venues there. She chose The Lalit Temple View Khajuraho for the wedding day and invited all of us. I was impressed with the elegant ambience and décor of the place. The garden area was beautifully decorated with famous temples in the background. We clicked loads of pictures of the wedding venue and had a very good time there. For a Khajuraho destination wedding, I think the Lalit temple view is the best venue to choose.

Initially a horrible room was given - Curtain was falling, AC not working, even intercom has no dialler tone!! They changed our room to a family room though half portion was locked. We enjoyed the food (breakfast and dinner) more than anything else while at the property. Geeta from housekeeping, Anupam (bar captain) from Panna restaurant, Pradeep (Manager) - all were very courteous, professional and helpful. Thank you Mukesh (from Panna restaurant) for the complimentary dinner. Atul (Manager) was polite and too much professional (he was in a hurry to check us out even though he was aware there was a health issue and the flight got delayed by several hours!!). Loved our stay and would recommend to others!!

They call themselves as 5 stars property but I think they don’t even know what 5 stars means! Extremely rude front desk as if they don’t even know what hospitality means, specially front desk person Aman. He was so impolite with me and my husband and to add on he was charging us way more for the local guide we asked and was even asking his commission from the guide.
The only saving grace was food but please if you want stress free stay please stay at Ramada or any other hotel but “The LaLlit”

The breakfast buffet was good. but not worth staying. There are other options also which give same experience in terms of room area, view etc. and price is much less than Lalit.

Some of the best service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Really nice staff. One whose name was Bhagwat was especially great. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the temples.
