Ramada by Wyndham Alleppey

Fantastic location with lovely lagoon backdrop. Rooms are spacious. Courteous and eager to help staff and excellent dining, house keeping and room service. We had a special send off ceremony!There were often power trips and ocassional unpleasant odour wafting in the corridors.

The view of back waters from the room is great. The room is clean with all amenities. The reception and house keeping staff are responsive. Food and service in the restaurant is good.
Now coming to the negatives, we have to wait for at least 10 minutes by opening the tap to get hot water especially in the evenings. First night I got hot water after 10 minutes. Second night I did not get. Morning you have to wait for 5 minutes. The towels are new but not absorbing. If these 2 are taken care, it is a great hotel.

Though my experience was great some some points were there which can't be neglected like I asked the room to get clean when I was out but wasn't done then told twice thereafter it was done.
Have to wait at the breakfast table for the meal.
Else it was pleasant stay there. Some of the employees are too energetic. I don't remember the name but the lady was too full of enthusiasm and energy. Can cheer anyone's mood.

First of all it doesn’t meet the standards of a 5 star hotel.

We requested for the sea view room and they had one available so they provided us the room upon request. Although the view from the room was not pleasing at all.

The rooftop restaurant looks like a desi bar and you won’t even feel like you’re at a 5 star hotel restaurant. Everything is so overpriced at the restaurant and the food is also below average.

The rooms were well cleaned but not maintained properly.

Overall if you’re thinking to book a 5 star hotel, I would suggest you to keep your expectations lower while booking this hotel.

Won’t recommend for the price you’re gonna pay for it.

The hotel was awesome. But service was slow. It took 1 hour for us to allocate rooms for us. We went at 2pm and checked in the room at around 3pm. This is not acceptable when it comes to 5 star hotels. Food was also not upto the mark as compared to the other 4 star resorts we stayed during our 6 day trips in various parts of Kerala.
The best part of the hotel was a 2 hour evening royal cruise ride. Just fascinated with the backwaters experience.

Nice property located close to the finishing line. Good amount of parking space available. Check-in got delayed as a big group of school children were checking out when we reached.

The restroom was stinking and need better maintenance. Otherwise everything was good.

Stayed in room 104 for 3 days 2 nights. Backwater view was obstructed better views are available from 3rd Floor onwards. Touch based electric switch and glass wall of the washroom were good part of the room. Room was clean. Freeze was not working even after repeatedly complaining. Staff was co-operative, food was good, LUNCH on the CRUISE from 1pm to 5pm was one of the best experience.

I stayed at this property for 2 days. The property is maintained well however the room infra is getting old yet maintained. Took a in-house 3 hour motor boat tour managed by the Ramada. This tour is something to remember a beautiful boat with superb lunch being served costing 2000 per person. Every penny is worth spending. Rest I appreciate and admire the services and help provided by Ms Parvathi from Travel desk for my each and travel arrangements from one city to another city. Thanks for a memorable stay for my family.
