Kapilavasthu Hotel

Nice vegetarian food. Nice service. The place is also neat. Parking facility is also available. A/C and non AC space are available. Can buy sweets and snacks also from here. Meals especially maharaja meals are a speciality of this hotel. Must try it.
But the veg biriyani was a bit too spicy. My kids didn't like it.

Visited there on October for having breakfast. The hotel is situated in the Palakkad town near the KSRTC stand. We ordered ghee roast and upma and both were an average for our taste. About the customer services it was above average.

Hot water in toilet 24hours not available, but reception say it's available. It's not true. Night hot water is not getting through by hot line tap in toilet.

Food is average but service is very bad … a variety of menu is available.but even 8 pm there is no special foods . Waiter told veggies are over . Waiters are very bad in approach . At 8pm only dosas are available in a rated hotel situated in the middle of the city . I will not recommend you . Even though price are little higher Pl opt indraprastha . Overall a Tamilian culture . Their attitude seems they are proving food which is provided free in temples . Highly pathetic service .

The rooms were neat & cozy for a 3-star hotel. The highlight was the complimentary breakfast buffet from the restaurant - It was good enough that I had to go for more servings! Overall a pleasant experience:)

The staffs were very polite and well behaved and there services was excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is 24/7 hot water available in the room. Breakfast was excellent.

Pathetic and lazy staff behaviour. Had a very bad experience at the restaurant . The person who came to take the order refused to serve us anything other than dosa saying its vacation time and everything else is over. Just when we finished our dinner , we saw porotta and chapati being served to the tables right next to us. Not sure why this attitude especially when we had elderly and a baby witjh us. Anywyas never again going to this horrible place again. And yeah even the sambar tasted old.

Very good location if you are looking to stay close to public transport. kSrTC stand is just a few metres from here. Although your night sleep may get disturbed because of the buses moving around early in the morning. Breakfast is complimentary and it is really good. Well maintained property.
