Hotel Mali International

Very basic hotel with poor maintenance .When i was given a room , the bed was dirty and on the pillow it had hair lying on it . Very dirty .A/C was not working also it had no remote .TV had only 5-6 local channels . Service was somewhat decent. Located by main road.

Very smelly hall and disgusting receptionist he was arguing with the guest. The bathing towel was very dirty and the towel was kept for dry was in floor. Room was in average condition. Overall experience was very bad

Bit uncomfortable for witnessing the restaurant serving non-veg food meant for the non-Hindus. Nothing against it in general. It is purely personal that I couldn't relish the sight of it.

Being close to railway station is the only advantage to this hotel. Rooms are big enough but the amenities and service do not match the price. Poor in maintenance and cleanliness. Lifts get stuck during power failures, computers get stuck during billing process and the whole building stinks some time. Water is good and fixtures are proper. Overall adjustable experience for emergency situations.

The rooms are spacious. Almirah, AC, TV, Tabke Chair, all available. AC remote is not provided. So if you need to adjust you need to call them. It's not situated inside town but nearby.

I am from Karnataka. I visited Kottayam on 22nd morning 1am. My friend had already done a phone call to Mali and said to reserve a room 3days earlier itself. But when I enter they said no bookings and after request they offered me a single room for 1200rupees. But problem was room not clean, no hot water , no lift till 3rd floor. If we need to compromise with these facilities then at least they should charge lesser amount. But No. Added photos kindly observe. Worst experience ever. Since they have room at 1am for only because of that reason I am giving two stars.

The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the railway station; just a minute's walk. The hotel is not well maintained. Not even cleaned. There is a stink all over the place. If there is a way to record that stink you won't even think of making a reservation there!!
