Travancore Court - A Four Star Business Hotel

Wow just had our sons christening function in one of the rooms. The experience from start to finish was excellent. Quality venue with amazing team. Raymond was amazing with communicating and the whole process was simply easy and first class. The menu was absolutely delicious quality food..highly recommend this venue for any function the staff go above and beyond to provide. The room itself was perfect. I am from Australia and I travel a lot. Very impressed by the whole service and facilities. Also it was a great value for money.

It was a beautiful vintage-ish location unlike other commercial hotels. It has a nice old school vibes. Top service, it was our first stop in Kerala, so it's a beautiful start. Food can be better. Amenities are good. As they were renovated, the room smelled of polishing chemicals otherwise it was fine.
The ambience and cleanliness of the hotel is good. The hotel is on MG road which is a convenient place for travel as well.

Myself and wife stayed for 2 nights in November 2022. The room and bathroom were clean and matching 4 star standards. Eventhough the windows and doors were closed a few mosquitoes were present. Renovation work is going on which starts around 7am and goes on till 7pm. Not possible to nap during day time. We had to go up and down on a lift which was under renovation. So better avoid booking till renovation is over. The buffet breakfast spread was good though the washroom (gents) in restaurant was smelly. By the way, they charged Rs 200 at check-out for coffee stain on a towel. Covered parking was not there. The parking space also was very limited.

I was on my way from a stay in South East Asia to USA via Doha and had a three night stay at Travancore Court. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the Manager and the staff and the attention to detail and all the help and advice going out of their way to make sure your stay is excellent. The breakfast had the usual Kerala delicacies and the dinner was just delicious. The location is very good and I had a busy stay but with the help of the manager I was able to accomplish all of my objectives including travel to Fort Cochin and visits to Book Stores etc etc. I highly recommend this business hotel. The hotel is undergoing renovations and I was on a higher floor and that did not in any manner hinder the pleasure of being here. The Rooms are amplier and i enjoyed the tasteful design of the toiletries. Will be coming back when I am in Cochin.

The Room was very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is scrumptious and the staff at the restaurant are very helpful.

We were accidently charged for a face towel which got coffee stained, but the Manager Mr.Rajesh promptly contacted us and refunded the amount. It is very reassuring to see the team resolve customer grievances promptly. They truly value their customer and are prompt in service.

Only downside is the noise from the renovation that is currently happening during daytime. We look forward to stay with Travancore court again once the renovation is complete.

This was my second visit to the place with family. Since there we no rooms available, we stayed at a nearby hotel and had food here. The special dish of the day -poricha chicken curry- was the best chicken preparation I had in recent times. Their fish tikka was also grilled to perfection. I was traveling with my daughter and it was so thoughtful of Mr. Vishnu Narayanan to offer milk for her, along with our dinner. Overall a heartwarming, memorable experience.

Mohanlal did it well. The best part of this place is that you can see so many celebrities check-in in here. I myself have seen so many people here. Shaji kailash is a regular visitor 🤣🤣. I have also seen other starts like Jagadeesh, edavela Babu, maniyam pilla Raju etc. Well food is decent, service is also good.

Problem I found was... The place was under construction when we stayed here. The life was totally scary by looks, but actually it works perfectly.

Rooms are not noise proof.

The water bottle they kept inside the room was not clean, we have bought water from outside.

The wifi is not secure. You will know what other people in other rooms are watching 😅😅😅

Parking is not covered. So you might struggle finding a shaded parking.

But overall this place is good. Highly recommended. For a business class the rooms are really good.
