Mayurakshee Resort

There was no power in the hotel! We paid for AC room but the AC was never turned on! We were told the generator supports only 1 AC and the reception AC was running because THE STAFF were sleeping! What kind of behaviour is this? We guests are paying for the AC room but will not get AC but THE STAFF who have not paid for anything will enjoy the AC?

The receptionist acted very rudely and the entire staff acted un-professionally and refused to co-operate. WE WEREN'T PROVIDED THE MANAGEMENT'S NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT UPON REQUEST

Really the worst hotel I ever visited! Firstly the hotel runs entirely on generator backup, electricity is non-existent. AC and Lift do not work. There are power cuts every few minutes even with generator! We had to roam around the hotel like maniacs at 2 AM. The staff are absolutely disgusting. Moreover food was never available and when asked for tea, it took them 2 hours to provide! The receptionist tried to force us to pay cash and was not willing to accept online payment. THE STAFF DESPERATELY REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE OWNER'S NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT!

We enjoyed the stay at the Resort which has beautifully arranged garden/children park and an Watch Tower after 86 nice steps.

Food (nicely foil packed) is being served and the quality was also good enough according to our taste.

Further, We noticed the room service timing is excellent. We wish to visit the Resort again.

Current goes off frequently, which may not be liked by most guests.

However, our cordial thanks to all the staff members working there, especially Gopal and Bholanath.

Huge resort. Lots of open space. Rooms are big and we'll maintained. Staff helpful. Food is good. Only drawback is erratic power supply of Jharkhand. Power backup is there for fans and light.

Tooooooo Gooood property. Ambience. People and food. I have visited and stayed 2 Nights 3 days with my Family and really felt excellent. Real good place to stay and visit. People are very co operative

Biggest challenge in this resorts is power cut, electric supply is very poor.
Housekeeping isn't adequate.

Absolutely amazing and relaxing area. If u have time enough explore this place please visit the behinds side of this dam, unexpected views cold water waves and waves sound on your ear. That’s makes you feels so calm and relaxing.

Observed that many travellers have appreciated the resort location, surrounding and staffs to some extent but major area of concerns have been abrupt Electricity/Power cuts and dysfunctional AC ...Could not notice feedback on F&B inside the resort but assuming that food and beverages quality (restaurant services ) will be good at least , expect the resort owner and state administration to look into Electricity /Power issues and other drinking water/room services oriented issues as these negative feedback causes damage to the image of Jharkhand State and Tourism Department of the state including local dumka administration. All stakeholders must convene a meeting and resolve these issues for once and all for the sake of Jharkhand's image which is known for scenic beauty and green places .
