Royal Lodge Group of Houseboats

Stayed in Royal Lodge Houseboat. Great hospitality and service. The Houseboat is very clean and has spacious rooms. The owner Mr Feroz & his family is super kind and down to earth, always helpful and cheerful. From breakfast to dinner the food is just mouthwatering. They treated us like royalty just like the name. My best experience in Kashmir. Worth a visit & worth every penny!

Very disappointing. We expected a decent houseboat at the very least. The house boat was broken and looked like as if it would fall apart. We stayed there for one night. The washroom is utterly disgusting. After dinner all of my family members got food poisoning. The water they provide also tastes weird. It was a very unpleasant and traumatic experience. Please be careful.

The houseboat was poorly maintained. The bedsheets were hardly changed. The whole place was dusty. The drawers were full of old stuff left by people. The food was tasteless and there was hardly electricity in the place. Though we pay so much for the room they charged extra for a bottle of water!

Had an amazing time at the houseboat. The hosts you get there are amazing, especially Mudasir bhai is very welcoming and guides you about everything (don't forget to meet him). Very nice and affordable option to chill in a houseboat with no fuss.

Nice and comfortable stay. Nature of care taker is very nice.providers pure veg and tasty food. Budget friendly hotel. 2 roomed boat house 🏠. Sufficient for 4to 5 persons.

Beautiful collection of rooms with elaborate furnishing. Very helpful hosts treat you like family. Very caring of me while I had a nasty fever. The boat has character and is very good value

Proper blankets not provided. Except that everything is very nice. Received well responded well.

First day at srinagar, dal lake. Rooms were good. They said it is a Khyber boat house. But room heater was not sufficient for the kind of winter at dal lake. I asked for another portable heater, but said not available.
