Hotel Le Talbot

Stayed in this hotel from 12th to 14th December 2022 due to arrived early morning. Very poor condition of rooms, untidy linen, basic amenities like wifi, entertainment and heater missing. Not recommended at all.

The hotel is in a very good location exactly on mall road , the manager and the hotel staff are very well behaved and helpful .We used to have our lunch and dinner from the hotel itself as it's very clean and hygienic .I recommend all this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I would like to give zeroooo star.. but if someone give minus star i will be with him. The hotel is full of arrogance. In mall road, in the name of hotel they have only small rooms. They don't have even basic facilities like power backup, room heater, hot water facilities. But room charges are 4star. I didn't try food because how can I try food in the dark.

Best hotel in Shimla

The main advantage is the hotel is located on prime locatio ant the room is neat and clean.

the stay was good. The valley view room i chose gave us a spectacular view of the room (I have added few images of the Valley View). The room service is decent and the staff is polite and very well behaved.. The hotel food is average hence the suggestion is to have it somewhere else. However, two things that annoyed me and compelled me to give 3 stars. 1. after reaching Shimla kept calling the landline and the mobile number multiple times to get the exact location of the hotel, both the phones kept ringing however no one answered. later I borrowed a local phone and dialed the mobile number and the call was answered. the excuse that was given to me was that the landline is damaged and the mobile phone was damaged by water.2. It's a hill station so charging money for a room heater is like any hotel charging money for a ceiling fan in Jaipur. so if you want a room heater it will cost you 250 per day.

Extremely bad and rude behavior from the manager. Bedsheets and pillow covers didn't seem like washed. Staffs seemed untrained. Only good thing was the view from the room. Food quality average, you can get better and cheaper food from outside.
They must work on their hospitality which is ZERO and highly informal.
