Hotel Ajanta

Horrible attitude! Ajanta used to be good but I guess the management has changed. They don’t treat customers well. We requested proper pillows and they denied our request. The bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom was smelly. The only good thing was food and that too only 20% dishes from their menu was available. We’re never stepping there back.

Extremely poor hotel management

We had booked 3 rooms well in advance and made payment in advance as well. On arrival they said the rooms aren't ready and will give them soon. We were given the rooms late at 7 pm which is well after their usual checkin time and sorry was their only response. They also didn't give us the proper rooms we had booked. If you don't have rooms of the said category don't book them in advance and if you have booked it then don't give them to someone who's ready to pay you more at the time of arrival.

WORST EXPERIENCE. DO NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE AND PAY. These people take you for granted

My recommendation would be any other 3 star property on the strip than this one

One of well known hotel in Delhi with impressive outside look. But room too small, smell like new wall painted, so it make me sick after 1 night. I had to change to nearby hotel with cheaper prices but so much better. This hotel isn’t worth the price.
One more thing I don’t like in many hotel in Delhi, included this one, is the manager trying to sell taxi service (city tour) too much. I felt annoyed. I told him I had planned already but he tried to talk too too much.

You know a place is great when you feel sad leaving! The staff are super helpful and friendly, genuinely attentive to our needs and we we’re traveling with 3 small children. Room was clean, food in the cafe was delicious. Also in a convenient location near train station and not far from Old Delhi. The travel agent was also excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Delhi :)

The rooms were tidy. Neatly set-up. Good for 2-3 nights, business purposes. Not recommended for Family. The springs of the bed had gone out of the bed so not so comfortable but manageable. Rest, breakfast and in-room service was good. The staff are well maintained, trained and good host.

I booked 1 Standard and 1 Deluxe room but when I arrived to the hotel, I was given 2 Standard rooms however when I raised this concern, I was given 1 Deluxe room as per my booking. May be they wanted to save some Deluxe rooms for foreigners. The hotel is clean but the condition of the rooms has deteriorated. Deluxe room in which I stayed had toilet seat broken, there were red patches on toilet seat. Also, a lot of patch work has been done on walls. I think the hotel is under renovation floor by floor. Food at Restaurant is just OK. Service in breakfast buffet is slow, I am not sure if that was the problem at the time when I stayed. Overall, I feel this hotel is very over-priced and not value for money.

The room photos shown are fake and charged ₹1120/- extra to provide a good room. showed us a room which is hardly 9 feet x 9 feet no windows like a box.
The rooms are very small & bad in condition, linens are either torn or non-hygienic. The beds are so bad you can't even sit properly, forget about sleeping. The breakfast is horrible no taste, quality or not much variety. It's a terrible experience & a horrific stay. Won't recommend it to any. One of the worst experiences ever had in any hotel.

So much noise around even you can't sleep in night. there is no deluxe or super deluxe room concept.
all room are same.
The property shown with description on the make my trip is different. Rooms are having bed smell. I complaint for tv not working but nobody came to attain complain. Moreover they charged extra for other room and did not provide bills. Staff is also not helping.
Basic things are also not proper. never ever will book it again.

Great location, but pretty average rooms for the price they charge.
One other challenge was when they start combining two single beds and call it a king size bed... That too for the deluxe room which is one category higher than standard room.
